Video allegedly shows dead Russian pilot surrounded by armed rebels in Syria (GRAPHIC)

The video posted online shows armed men around an alleged Russian pilot who seems to be unconscious and immobile. His face is bruised and bloodied. The men seem to be happy and are praising Allah, with some regretting that they hadn't burned him on the spot.

"A Russian pilot," a voice is heard saying as a group of men gather around him. "God is great," a voice says.

They spoke Arabic with Turkmen accent.

According to Reuters, the video was sent by a rebel group operating in the northwestern area of Syria, where groups including the Free Syrian Army are active but Islamic State has no known presence.

Jahed Ahmad, a representative of the 10th Brigade in the Coast, the rebel group that attacked the pilots, claimed to AP that one of the Russian pilots was dead upon landing.

Both pilots came under fire from members of the group after they attempted to land with their parachutes, Ahmad said. He added that the shots killed one of the pilots, but the fate of the other pilot is still unknown.

From the way the people in the video look and are behaving, we "can assume that they are from the group" that follow the ideology of Islamic State militants or Jabhat al-Nusra, Ali Rizk, journalist and Middle East expert told RT.

Open question as to when and how the Russian airmen died, but if it was the Obama-backed FSA "rebels" who killed them, then there will be hell to pay.

This is not very good PR for Turkey.

The Russian people will be enraged, and Putin’s going to become even bolder in what he does.

Russian blood now on the hands of Obama, Clinton, John McCain and Lindsey Graham. Our “allies” shot down the Russian rescue helicopter with a TOW missile we gave them.

Only in DC would this level of corrupt incompetence be hailed as “leadership”.

We need to be talking about what our exit strategy will be for Obama/Clinton’s failed adventure in Syria.

Well, this is devolving much quicker than I thought it would. Thank goodness we have our little petulant, all-knowing Captain Limpwrist as CIC, or I would start to worry.

Is it true that there was no actual violation of airspace, that Turkey claims something like 5km of airspace inside Syria?
Heard that last night.

Thanks Obama and Clinton!

“Arms supplied by the USA.”

The Soviet Union/Russia supplied arms and training to almost every terrorist organization for the last 60 years. They can take a taste of their own medicine once in a while.

You need to at least give an honorary mention to the Pride of Arizona and the Republican Party the one that I sold a part of my soul and voted for President in 2008. None other than the One and Only John Sydney McCain.

I can see the Russians playing a little Tit-For-Tat with Turkey. Time will tell.

Looking at the supposed radar track of the SU-24 (if it is in fact accurate and not altered propaganda), and considering the remoteness of the terrain, it looks like the Russian air crew made a mistake, double-backed, and then accidentally recrossed back over a tiny sliver of Turkish territory, where the F-16s were waiting in ambush.

There was really no reason for the Turks to fire first, since the bombers were not deep inside Turkey, and were no threat to the Turks themselves.

Regardless, there's going to be hell to pay now...

Turkey has a very sophisticated military, the commies will not want to mix it up with them. No matter how bad Obozo is(and he is v. bad) the commies are not our allies.
