Ted Cruz on Wednesday edged into a virtual tie with GOP front-runner Donald Trump in a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday for the state of Iowa, with Trump retaining a narrow lead of 25 percent of the vote, followed by Cruz with 23 percent, doubling his support from four weeks ago.

You have no idea of what a cult is. Some people will vote for Trump because of the way he combs his hair.Others will vote for Cruz or someone else because they don’t like the way Trump combs his hair...all the while ignorant that in Trump’s youth there was a hair style of brush forward just like there was a flat top or a crew cut.
I’ll vote for Trump because of his intelligence, proven business record, willingness to fight to destroy Political Correctness, and inherent intuition about how to combat the failure of our country at this point in time.
The childish, sometimes vulgar slams against Trump supporters only serves to convince me that the people who do so are ignorant of what made this country great. Dissension can also lead to greater strength. After all, Benjamin Franklin didn’t really like the final version of the Constitution, but he signed it and supported it. Amazing how many Cruz supporters sling scummy remarks against Trump while most Trump supporters can accept Cruz.....in my case with a certain measure of reserve.
Cluelessness on this order of magnitude doesn’t come easy.

I pretty much agree with one caveat and that being Trump gets a following of younger people
and they ban together to invade the 1,682 precincts in support of Trump. The most conservative
and religious groups will be there for Cruz. The ironic thing about Iowa is that there are two
more caucuses before they finally agree on their National Convention delegates.
Oh please. Arnold didn’t have a fraction of the money Donald does, and of all the criticisms I’ve heard of Arnold over time, being subservient to donors is likely at the very bottom of the list.

Trump in no way fits the Romney mold. Romney should have won, but he backed off and went soft, letting Obama win because that was his objective...as dictated by the GOPe, just like Jeb was chosen to lose this time. Trump is not a willing loser. He has been a fighter ALL his life. I’ll go with an intelligent, imperfect human being who puts America First, rather than another lawyer-politician who has already shown his Achilles Heel.

Donald Trump has a history of using eminent domain to complete business deals. Multiple times Trump has supported the use of government agencies to take possession of homes and businesses for use in his private business plans. Eminent domain seizures are reserved only for public use of property rather than abuse by the government taking property from one individual and giving to another. (Washington Post)
Donald Trump has sought and received crony capitalist tax breaks for his commercial properties in New York. These tax breaks, and even an abatement, force the property taxes of other property owners to rise at the expense of the connected. Special treatment for one business or industry over another with the tax code conflicts with free market principles. (National Review)
