Ahmed ‘Clock Kid’ Mohamed’s Family Demands $10 Million From City of Irving

Attorneys representing the family of Ahmed “clock kid” Mohamed sent a letter to Irving, Texas, officials demanding $10 million in compensation for “damages” and written apologies from the city’s mayor and police chief.

After making appearances at a number of high-profile locations, including the White House, Mohamed and his family moved to Qatar.

“For personal security reasons, Ahmed and family are in Doha, Qatar. However, when they feel safe again, all of them want more than anything to come home, to Irving, Texas,” the letter states.

The two officials being asked to publicly apologize are Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne and Police Chief Larry Boyd. Following the publication of this article, Van Duyne told TheBlaze that “no one from the city has even seen the letter.”

“Apparently, it was more important to get the letter to the media first,” she added.

Clock boy was offered a scholarship at a prestigious school in Qatar and that’s why they left Irvine. Maybe they kicked him out after they found out he doesn’t really know how to make a clock and they need the money to come back.

The school district has been prohibited from releasing the true story because of student privacy laws. If they go to trial everything can come out.
