A friend of mine just tried killing herself tonight. She's in the emergency room and we're still waiting for news. Her name is Kylie and prayers are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Persons who can get up and take a shower and make breakfast can actually kill themselves. Not just attempt. Her trip to the emergency room is a call for help. Get her the help she needs. Persons who actually commit suicide often make one or more “attempts.”

She’s a minor. I imagine her parents will handle it. The best I can do at this point is pray to God to spare her life.

Her parents aren’t handling it so far.
I don’t usually recommend interference, but if they keep doing what they are doing they are going to get more of what they got. Not every problem is a parent’s fault, but a call for help usually means that help is needed.
I don’t pray for favors; God knows what he is doing already, but good luck to her.
