When in Rome do as the Romans do.
When in the land of the crazed barbarians...

It feels so strange to be actively siding with - and cheering for - the Russian military.

Which is better?

Doing the jobs treasonous, feckless, American politicians don’t have the b*lls to do. Thanks, Vladimir.

I spent some time there, years ago. The average Russian looked up to us, and wanted Americans to be their big brothers. A huge opportunity was missed, after the Cold War ended, if the cards were played correctly, we might have had a friendly relationship with a country that would have made a formidable ally.

I am not a Putin supporter, BTW. Thank you.

During World War 2, in early 1940, Britain wanted to launch fluvial mines from France into the Rhine to disrupt German shipping. France would not allow it as they did not want to "antagonize" the enemy and draw reprisals.

Instead, Britain went to mine the waters around Norway. Within a few months, France would be overrun by the Nazis and had to depend upon the U.S. and England to liberate them (along with the Russians).

Now the Russians are avenging the attacks in Paris on behalf of France (and also for their own jetliner).

Hopefully France will remember lessons of the past and start to do some of their own fighting.

al-Baghdadi should have known not to F with Putin by bombing a passenger jet. Does he think everyone is an Obama?

That’s the type of action that would stop the stupid crazy Muslims in the West from going to Syria and fight from ISIS! Losing the war is not great for recruiting!

Flattening a town in Syria is nothing new. Assad Sr. leveled a town of enemies to parking lot status. But, the “Capitol” of the islamic savage swine deserve this.
