The Subway sandwich chain’s ex-pitchman, Jared Fogle, was slammed with a ??15-year, 8-month sentence on child porn charges Thursday, after a hearing in which his shrinks blamed his more than 200-pound weight loss for turning him “hyper-sexual.â€
Subway’s turkey footlongs made him a sex-crazed pedophile, Fogle had claimed in a last-ditch try for leniency.
Fogle “traded a horrible food addiction for a horrible sex addiction,†defense lawyer Jeremy Margolis had argued at sentencing.

My understanding is that he is being sent to a fairly safe jail. The kind white collar or celebrities go to.

Didn’t ever feel like being a pedophile but at one point in my life I did lose over 100lbs fairly rapidly.
Before that I was barely interested in sex. After losing weight, I was probably an addict. Ignoring responsibilities and online dating constantly, etc.

It’s a federal sentence...so he’s going to do over 13 years.
From all that I have heard over the years ... Jim Baker was sent to such a prison and yet he was raped on a regular basis. I’m sure that if what I have heard about Baker is true, Jared could suffer much worse ... his crime involved children.
