Liberal director Michael Moore said Friday he is willing to shelter Syrian refugees at his Michigan residence.
"I look forward to welcoming Syrians to my home and I wholeheartedly encourage other Americans to do the same," he wrote on his Facebook page.

You know, if he actually does this, I will have a TINY amount of respect for him, putting his money where is mouth is. This, of course, is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE for virtually all liberals to do. For example, they will protest all day with the oppressed and then get the hell out of that bad neighborhood to their economically, if not physically gated community away from “those people”.
Somebody has to do all the gardening, shopping, cleaning and other such menial labor at his mansion.

By all means, take him up on his “sincere” offer [sarc]. It was disclosed in Moore’s divorce proceedings that he owns at least nine houses, and none of them are hovels. With that real estate portfolio, he should be able to house hundreds of refugees. Of course, a lot of them will starve to death; only item with more empty space than Michael Moore’s brain is his refrigerator. After Mike cleans out the vittles, there won’t be a lot for them to eat.
That is Michael Moore’s former home on Torch Lake. After a very nasty divorce his wife got custody of the house. She is trying to sell it.
