About a decade ago, when Medicare Advantage started in my state, it had about a dozen different providers, each with a half-dozen or more policies.
Each year thereafter, some have dropped out. Now, there are about a half-dozen providers, each with about 3 or 4 policies.
Well, that certainly is unexpected. </s
Individual States need to start nullifying Obamacare, or simply ignore the Feds, and set up competing systems within their borders
for some time now United has been advertising the medicare second insurance. They dropped their medicare advantage coverage ads altogether.
The goal is to get it down to four BC/BS partners, Humana and Kaiser. Then the Feds just have to come up with a handful of golden parachutes in order to take over and do single payer.
How many more thousands will join the ranks of the policy cancellation crowd?
ObamaCare was meant to fail. Its’ purpose was to pave the way for Single-Payer.

United Healthcare sent their employees all over the country urging a yes vote on Obamacare. They figured they would make billions a year getting free money from the Fed. They spent over 10 million dollars promoting this evil. I hope they go bankrupt.

These insurers took huge government subsidies (your money) while the getting was good — when Obamacare shut down the individual insurance market leaving millions without a choice but to sign up for this turd or go without insurance. They all have actuaries who knew this would FAIL.
Now they’re crying foul. Screw ‘em. Their crony capitalism made this turd possible.
