Original title too long - BREAKING: Honduras Arrests Five Syrians With Fake Greek Passports Heading To U.S.A. – Three More Arrested In St. Maarten
Two separate incidents with common attributes. Two independent groups of Syrian males traveling on fake Greek passports trying to gain entry into the U.S. The first group of three was identified/captured in Saint Maarten after a flight from Haiti. The second group of five were identified/captured in Honduras.
Group #2 – Honduran authorities have detained five Syrian nationals who were trying to reach the United States using stolen Greek passports, but there are no signs of any links to last week’s attacks in Paris, police said.
The group of Syrian men was held late on Tuesday in the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa on arrival from Costa Rica and they were planning to head to the border with neighboring Guatemala. The passports had been doctored to replace the photographs with those of the Syrians, police said.
Another three Syrian men were arrested in St Marteen also with fake Greek Passports, and also seeming to head toward the U.S:
PHILLIPSBURG, St Maarten — Police in St Maarten have arrested three men, believed to be nationals of Syria, who tried to enter the country on Saturday using false Greek passports after arriving on an Insel Air flight originating in Haiti.
The men in custody arrived at the Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIA) around 7:30 pm. They were held by airport immigration after it was discovered that the travel documents they presented were false.
The suspects were turned over to the “Back Office†at the PJIA, which further investigated the documents and determined that the Greek passports the men were travelling with were indeed false. The suspects were remanded in custody pending further investigation.
In the meantime, the police in St Maarten are urging members of the community to be vigilant and proceed with caution given the current situation unfolding in France.
Authorities manning critical infrastructures are urged to heighten security measures and remain alert for any suspicious activities or persons. They are also advised to contact the police immediately should they encounter any suspicious activities in these areas.

Why do you say that? Five Syrians with fake passports in Honduras and three in St.Maarten is a bit much and it hasn’t even been a whole week since the attacks in Paris, France.
We, meaning the US public, are not aware that this may have been going on for months previous, maybe even a year.
