HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Muslims around the U.S. are facing backlash following the deadly attacks in Paris, including vandalism to mosques and Islamic centers, hate-filled phone and online messages and threats of violence.
Advocacy leaders say they have come to expect some anti-Muslim sentiment following such attacks, but they now see a spike that seems notable, stirred by anti-Muslim sentiment in the media.
"The picture is getting increasingly bleak," said Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the Washington, D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations. "There's been an accumulation of anti-Islamic rhetoric in our lives and that I think has trigged these overt acts of violence and vandalism."
He said the rise in the level of anti-Muslim sentiment is reflected by some GOP presidential candidates, governors and others speaking out in opposition to the U.S. accepting more Syrian refugees.

Maybe if CAIR spoke out against the Paris attacks they would not have to speak out against the backlash vandalism.

Our rights as naturalized citizens of the United States of America trump any and all right of non citizen immigrants. Especially when we have been told that they are infiltrating refugees with know jihadists. FUBO
I have posted for a LONG time that all muslims should be required to sell their assets and then deported, no matter who they are or whether they are citizens or not. Then, the mosques must be razed to the ground. Hasn’t been too well accepted. If we don’t we ARE going to have a repeat of this Paris mess here.

Name me even ONE Muslim in this country who has been harmed as a result of a backlash after a terror incident. I can’t think of one, even in the wake of 9-11. Just one Sikh that some yahoo mistook for a Muslim.
Ibrahim Hooper is one of the leaders of the Muslim brotherhood, an organization that is now listed as a terrorist group.
On another theme that is related to it - Overnight I was listening to the McNamara - Harley radio talk show. They have never like Obama and are frequently criticizing him - but they were really on a tear against him last night. By a very short thread they avoided calling our president a jihadist. They openly declared that he hates Americans, Christians, GOP folks, etc. more than he hates the killings which ISIS is doing.
Only if they start acting up...
America and our Christian faiths are for God; Muslims are for Allah and believe in Sharia Law, which we don't...and since that will never be in America, they should leave....
