I would note that I think it a childish and base way of behaving to make threatening phone calls, to vandalize mosques, etc. That has no place in our society.

However, Moslems who don't regularly and vociferously condemn ALL acts of terror by fellow Moslems, and actively cooperate with federal, state and local authorities to ferret out terror cells here, can't really expect anything different or complain when stuff like this happens. They have made their own bed. Oh, and as for CAIR, they do the opposite of helping the authorities - they are a terrorist funding mechanism. Screw them with a rusty chainsaw.

Wow, I come back to the forum after a busy day and see that a post I made this morning caused a mini uproar. Here is how I addressed the matter in a private message to a FReeper who asked if my comment was sarcastic.

Yes my post was sarcastic in response to a poster who wrote that the rights of naturalized citizens (meaning previous immigrants) trumps those of non-citizens. That is manifestly true, but I thought it was odd to stand up for earlier generations of immigrants against new ones. So I offered my modest and slightly sarcastic suggestion to deport them all.

That would of course include myself and just about everybody else who posts here. So I guess it wasn’t a popular suggestion.
