Sen. Charles Schumer (N.Y.), the third ranking member of the Senate Democratic leadership, on Tuesday said it may be necessary to halt the resettlement of Syrian refugees in the United States.
Republicans immediately seized on Schumer's comment, which breaks with other Democrats who have argued against halting the program.
Exactly.
does anyone have a link to where folks in the FBI admitted that they have no way to verify the refugees status and security risk
Schumer is up for reelection. Even in New York massive unfettered Muslim immigration is frowned upon.
(can we turn this into a Thailand? post...)
Schumer and DiFi are probably the reason ElephantEars sounded so crazy yesterday.
He is catching flack from major RAT power brokers.
Now just about the time things are starting to look good, it must be time for a Bush Family member to open their mouth.
Where was Obama’s compassion when ISIS was slaughtering the innocent?
Now even Schumer sees the obvious insanity of bringing tens of thousands of unvetted, military age males to the U.S.
:)
RE: Schumer: Refugee pause may be necessary
Tell him to talk to Andrew Cuomo and eventually Barry himself.
Our Governor is a weak spined RINO. I am afraid he will cave.
Schumer is running to the right of Jeb! LOL.
He does? How, when & where? When did Schumer ever give up his body guards and put himself in any risky encounter?
Schumer is a hard-core, committed leftwing Marxist democrat. Left-wing ideology & advocacy always takes precedence over ethnic, religious or family heritage. That's why Schumer & the 78% of liberal Jews who voted for 0dumb0 & and are democrats, would sell Israel down the river in a heartbeat, and totally support the Unholy Alliance of Liberalism and Islam, because it fits their Marxist world view.
Their crony quasi-freemarket advantageers realize you can't buy their junk if the malls are empty and it all dries up if we have an "event". They may want the market cornered, but they are not Sat-Bhit crazy like lear deeder is.
Speaking of which, read between the lines on this IBD editorial from last week, I think they are saying it without saying it. And that is even "our" talkers are saying more and more, they elevator isn't going to the top floor and are hinting at the 25th Amendment.
Don't forget that the scumbag also had to be seen voting against the Iran surrender document, but he would have voted in favor like the rubber stamp Demwit that he is, were it not for political pressure from inside and outside NY state.
Schumer’s put country ahead of the Democrat party before... this isn’t the first time.
WTH? First I’ve heard that idea. Is this an idea they’re just brainstorming? Like what if...
He will have to hurry to cave before Paul Ryan.
