So *this* is where the "phobia" part of "islamophobia" originates. It finally makes sense. You have to wait for the proponents to reach critical mass and start stabbing, shooting, and blowing others up. And then you know fear of islam ... for good reason. It makes total sense. I wonder if this is how the "phobia" in "homophobia" plays out too.

There is no such thing as Islamophobia, a phobia is an irrational fear. Knowing that Islam has condoned and fostered violence everywhere it has been practiced for more than 1500 years, and being wary of it is not irrational.

I wonder if these people would be saying that Jews had a PHOBIA about the Nazis, as the Jews were being rounded up, tagged, and put in cattle cars.

Perhaps watching the Muslims in France carrying around severed heads might get them to stop calling it a ‘phobia’...but probably not, as the persons they’re accusing of being ‘phobic’ are the ones that still have their heads attached.
