Now, 25 Republican governors â and one Democrat too â have said they don't want Syrian refugees in their states, as President Obama recommitted the U.S. to take a portion of this population fleeing from ISIS.
In a press conference this morning in Turkey, Obama said that 'the United States has to step up and do its part,' while chiding those in the opposition party for suggesting there be a 'religious test' for entry into the United States.
There's concern, after Friday's brutal attack in Paris, that ISIS fighters are infiltrating those fleeing Syria and will carry out future violence against the West. 'It is very important,' Obama said. 'That we do not close our hearts to these victims of such violence and somehow start equating the issue of refugees with the issue of terrorism.'

He could put them into States 51 -57. None of those governors has weighed in yet.
I agree. It is a snowball. I’m praying it rolls through Washington DC. I’m just saying... this is the chance. If this doesn’t do it... nothing will.
48-50 in favor when the smoke clears. They are gutless. I hope I am wrong. I see none standing up when Barry arrests the first couple Govs. Maybe AZ/Texas.
“Trump may have this wall thing understated. Maybe we need a wall along the border..... and walls around a few of our major, liberal cities. Drop them in those walled cities and let the melting pot melt.”
Reminds me of Kurt Russell in Escape to New York.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckvDo2JHB7o
Yes, 26 at last count. It take’s 38 to call a constitutional convention.
Well the governors of the states Obama is giving a pass to like Kasich wont’ say jack. So I’d say at this point we are in a majority. Time to declare victory. :-)
Yes the 10th amendment is long over due for a dusting off.

Kentucky’s not allowing either.
This hits too close to home. I don’t see too many of these Govs buckling. I may be wrong, but I’m bumping my number to 40. 32 R (with Bevin Dec.8) 8 D.
“Barry arrests the first couple Govs. Maybe AZ/Texas.”
Exactly how do you propose this will take place?
Will he personally come to Austin and place handcuffs on Abbott? Do you think he can send a standin that can take on the Texas Rangers?
Have you honestly thought this out or are just spouting off?

That’s good news, I figured that wouldn’t happen until Dec.8th when Bevin is sworn in.
Sure I have. He sends fed agents, they make an arrest and walk out the door. Whats so hard about that? The federal judge signed warrant for sedition or treason will give them the authority to do so.
And if you see a flaw there please explain it.
He takes office Dec.8th. He’ll get on board then.
The first was ours in Michigan.
Rick Snyder, one tough nerd..
No one here is going to arrest him. Michigan has more guns than most states I bet. Anyone know?
Yeah - we’ll see how soon they fold. If Obama can get John Roberts to fold, governors will be no problem.
They are already here. Thanks to R’s and D’s many came over our border through Mexico, and we already accepted thousands of Muslims in previous years under Obama.
THey are inside the gates NOW. Watch your six.
I would think the two Dakota’s and Wyoming, not so sure about Montana and Utah, we can add to our side. Would that put us in the majority?
Thats nice. Who will be the first one to pull one on a fed?
I hear you. But look at the reality. These people could not stand up for their country in a voting booth. Mitt Romney no matter what! Lesser evil! how many are gonna go Johnny Rambo? Not many. And none with a cushy state job.
“Hey I got a family ya know???”
