Vi va la France!!!!!....

...the French fighter jets struck back hard with a massive bombardment of the Isis jihadist group's 'stronghold' in Raqqa, Syria......Twelve aircraft, including 10 fighter jets, dropped 20 bombs, destroying a jihadi command post ,recruitment center, training camp and a munitions dump in Raqqa, where Iraqi intelligence officials claimed the attacks on Paris were planned.

Bet these French Pilots could hardly wait to carry out this mission!

How you going to track Isis or Muslims there’s no data base on them.

For true war need at least 1 million ground troops. Have to contain them though because they can squirm out like rats in a sinking ship at night by stealth. The border most plausible for escape is Iraq and it’s huge. You’re basically having to surround and contain them.

Of course I’m not counting the thousands already parading to Europe as “refugees.”

There's more....France is on the move!

Anti-terrorism raids taking place across France'..... reports that coordinated raids are taking place across France by anti-terrorism forces.

Raids are reported to be taking place in:.....Toulouse....Grenoble....Calais

....L Observateur le Sambre reports that 20 vehicles were involved in raids in Jeumont, closing off streets around rue du docteur Laennec, where a building was being searched.

....The Parisian suburb of Bobigny has also been raided overnight, with several homes searched

...Frances iTele reports that at least three people have been taken into custody in the Toulouse raids:

Information about the raids is patchy, but this appears to show police vehicles involved in an operation in Toulouse in the early hours on Monday morning:

Yeah...
Turns out it wasn’t so “Massive”.

They dropped 20 bombs, many on an ISIS camp that the Russians have been hitting for two weeks, that is now supposedly EMPTY.

Must have been using intelligence given them by Obama.

Gee, the must have dropped a dozen tons by now.

All they have is attack aircraft and would take a week to drop as much tonnage as a single B-52 pass.

BTW....when the French first started bombing Raqqa the people on the ground thought it was still Russia...and twitter and other social sources were reporting it as Russia for a while until they realized it was France.

Looks to me like Putin sidestepped so France could carry out their mission.

This is merely a PR exercise by the socialist Hollande: a show bombing.

It is an Obama-style pinprick.

Neither Hollande nor Obama want to upset the Red-Green Alliance.

I disagree that the France attack on Raqqa was simply a “pin-prick”....it was ISIS central command headquarters, training camp and recruitment center.....It was like hitting our Pentagon and Capital.....nor was it a ‘mere PR exercise”.

The US and Russia side-stepped so that France had freedom to conduct their mission on Raqqa and that is “Huge” in itself. The most co-operation among these leaders we’ve seen since Syria War began....and that’s significant.

I say..vi va La France! Job well done!

As others have pointed out in other posts:

1. 20 bombs hardly qualifies as a “major” bombardment.

2. This command center, recruitment center, and ammunition storage base were just sitting around all this time being ignored by the Russian and the United States air attacks, and were conveniently waiting around as available targets just in case terrorists attacked Paris so the French would have something to bomb in retaliation?

Something tells me this was little more than a publicity stunt by the French.

it was ISIS central command headquarters, training camp and recruitment center

So we are to believe that suddenly, right after the Paris attacks, the U.S. finds the ISIS HQ?

Sorry, this is all about politics and warding off the National Front in the forthcoming elections.

Vive la revolution, you mean.

I think the B-52 could hold a lot more than 20 bombs. More like 50 plus 500 lb bombs plus a few (30?)1000 pound bombs.
