You are spot on with the comment. ISIS is already in Europe. This is a feel-good distraction without massive follow up and support to exterminate the nest. In the mean time, they should be rounding up and holding all refugees and scrutinize each one prior to deportation or arrest.

Raqqah is a pile of rubble already. It takes absolutely no political courage to drop bombs on Raqqah. The ISIS members France should be concerned about are in France, they are the public dole, there are thousands more arriving every day, and any Frenchman who even makes disparaging comments about them are arrested.

Question is, if Russia has been hitting ISIS so hard, not to mention the tonnage the West and it’s allies (Jordan, etc.) have dropped (I saw some numbers last week - can’t find the link now, but, the total is impressive even if the daily amounts are not) how is it that there’s anything but rubble to bounce?

I am coming to believe that we are more nearly in a “1984” scenario than I could have dreamt, a few years ago.

That’s not to say the terrorists and their supporters are not very dangerous, or should not be obliterated. The response, however...
