Police are reportedly chasing a car containing four 'heavily armed men' who stormed through a motorway toll road as they headed towards Paris.

French police are said to be in pursuit of a Citroën Berlingo after it forced its way through a toll on the A10 in the Ablis area of Yvelines in north-west France.

The town is approximately 40 miles from the centre of Paris and the incident comes as police remain on high alert following a string of deadly terror attacks across the French capital last night.

“Keystone cops video running through my mind.”

Take that idea and have the cops chasing the Muzzie terrorists in the roundabout going round and round the Arc de Triomphe ala National Lampoon’s “European Vacation” roundabout scene.

You really need correction. The Charlie Hebdo Terrorists thought they could get away from the French "Keystone Cops" too. They wound up DEAD! You know NOTHING about the capabilities of the French. Watch and LEARN!

Your post reads like those French dudes on the castle wallin Monty Python's movie. Do you FART in his general direction. I bet his MOTHER was a hamster and hi FATHER smelled of Elderberry.

Off topic, but Berlin-go seems more suitable for a Lada than a French car.

The fact that suicide vest wearing terrorists could get inside the stadium, with the French President
.........................................

Have a link for that info? I know an explosion that was outside the stadium could be heard from inside the stadium. But I have not read what you report.

I thought longarms had to be stored at the local constabulary and signed out for use?

“So it looks like the E.U. open borders policy for Europe might have some drawbacks.”

For who?

Watch all the left wing govts use this as an opportunity to crack down on the “right wing extremist” that oppose the murderous muslim invaders I mean peaceful muslims refugees swarming into their countries.

You think it’s just a coincidence for the past 6 months we’ve been told by our govt and their allies in the MSM that the real threat is not from foreign terrorist but from the right wing extremist?

“OVER 30% of the French are armed.”

Could you give me a source for that number? It is higher than most that I have seen. Perhaps it includes the number of illegal guns in France.

There have been long stretches of history when the French - or the Franks, if you want to go back a ways - were master practitioners in the the arts of "bad-assery." Still, I don't know if they have enough of any sort of "national will" left to take on anyone these days, let alone the Islamists. Certainly their current political leadership gives one little hope that they are inclined to be serious about such things.

...Owning firearms in France and using them for sport, hunting, and self-defense makes New York City laws look tame in comparison and there is no second amendment to protect the rights of French gun owners...

Negotiate a plowed field and keep the eggs intact. Could double as the lead vehicle in the NYC St Patrick's day parade.

............................................................
Depends on what you call gun free. The following list will give you an idea of weapons available to citizens of each country listed. Source, Wiki.

#1 U.S.A. with 112,6 guns per 100 people.
#4 Switzerland 45.7
#9 Sweden 31.6
#10 Norway 31,3
#11 FRANCE 31.2
#12 Canada 30.8

#82 United kingdom 6.6
Most handguns were banned in 1997. You have to have a “valid reason” to own a gun in the UK. “Fox Hunting” England’s ancient sport has been outlawed for years, while it still is practiced in France.

And to get a gun in France you have to go to a range and prove you can shoot straight.

I looked into their gun laws. They are byzantine but doable.

We still have work to do. That should be 300 guns per 100 people (pistol, rifle, shotgun per person).

Firearm Laws in the UK

“The police will inspect where you plan to store the weapon and advise you on what they require you have for the firearm to be safe. The Firearms laws state your guns must be safe from theft. The normal method of security is a locked cabinet that is carefully secured flush to a supporting wall, to stop it being ripped down.”
