Donald Trump ^ | 11-12-15 | Donald Trump

Posted on 11/12/2015 7:21:38 PM PST by JoeSeales

Donald Trump was in Iowa tonight and gave a speech to thousands of supporters in Fort Dodge. He blasted all of his opponents, especially Ben Carson, who he repeatedly mocked and spoke about for 9 minutes.

He even does a little stabbing scene before asking what the hell is wrong with Iowa that Ben Carson is so close to him in the polls.

I’m not saying what Trump said was wrong. I know the definition of pathological and Carson uses the term in his book. But I also know what the media is on the verge of doing to Trump for daring to use the word “child molester” and Carson in the same sentence. The media, INCLUDING FOX NEWS, will come after him tomorrow with a vengence. Wish it hadn’t happened. He was my candidate. Unless Cruz gets the nomination I will not be voting for president. Get ready to say President Hillary Clinton. By tomorrow morning she’ll come out and trash Trump for daring to speak about her old friend Ben Carson in such a disparaging way. Carson is a disaster and would have imploded on his own. Just a bad move for Trump and I felt sick when I heard him say “child molester” in the video. It’s a bridge too far. The media is salivating.

He’s been calling out the press almost every day since June. He went 95 minutes which is 20 to 25 minutes longer than he usually goes. A good night sleep would do him good. He ended fine and the Iowans were still smiling with appreciation.

No one will even notice. It’s Friday, the day before Saturday and many will spend the newshour shopping in readiness for Saturday; the feast day of the NCAA, and Sunday the feastday of the NFL.

If, GOD forbid, Carson is the nominee, Hillary will eat him alive in the first minute and 1/2!

Dr. Ben may be a "hero" to your crowd and a bunch of stupid children, as well, so be it; however, he isn't fit to be president or even Sec. of health; or whatever! You may imagine that you "love education", but you are uneducated about Carson, what it takes to be a good president, and what type of person we need NOW to be president.

He looked tired but he’s going to have to exercise some judgement and not let exhaustion ruin everything he’s worked for. It only takes one major moment with the GOPe and press breathing down his neck.

Of course he might also be getting sick of that crap. Who would blame him?

That’s true. In this election, media attacks are nothing but poll enhancers. Trump has made that popular and quite common.

We’re not screwed if Trump leaves. If Trump AND Cruz leave, then we’re screwed.

In a poll of Democrats, asking of who they fear the most in a match-up against Hillary, Trump tops the list at 32% (Rather peculiar that number is near equal to Trump’s support) ... Cruz is down near the bottom, at 2%. Why do you think Democrats do not fear Cruz?

You might want to tell your children and their friends that unless Trump is elected they are likely to be living in a country where English is a second language.

You might also want to inform them that Gentle Ben said today that he would shoot down Russian planes that entered a no fly zone so they might be living in WW III.

Then be sure to tell them that they will need to try to figure out a way to make a living without having a job because if TPP is passed they won’t have one.

You and your children and your friends can loathe Donald Trump all you want but he is the only one willing to fight for you and your way of life,

If you think that Carson will do it or that Cruz will be able to do it then you need to do look seriously at the problems we are dealing with.

This went beyond the usual Trump punches and sarcasm. I was shocked by what he said. It seemed he was self-destructing. Not a Trump supporter, (nor Carso) but was rooting for him sometimes and really like the immigration plan on his site.

This was a bad night for him and honestly, he deserves whatever criticism he gets for it.

Wise words. Donald Trump is clueless about the huge portion of the Evangelical Republican base. He just doesn’t live in their world or share their core values.

I don’t know how he can win without them.

Ben Carson is a renowned pediatric neurosurgeon. He was raised in Detroit by a single mother. His book and movie are the real thing. My teenagers are hugely inspired by him. They love his stories and enjoy his speeches. The stories about his temper in his youth are a small portion of his life story, used to illustrate his repentance. I get it. And how many other teens have experienced something do the same?

By making fun of this temper issue that Ben Carson says he overcame with God’s help, Trump is saying loud and clear to Evangelical Christians that sins are permanent. He’s treating Carson’s turning to Christ as something suspicious, shouting that people don’t change, and denying that God is sovereign and powerful. It’s completely against the whole gospel message! But Trump is ignorant of Christianity and doesn’t understand it. He might be able to get away with enough votes from the white voters with no college degrees, with broken family situations, who also feel alienated from the church, I suppose. They seem to be his personal base.
