I expect ratings will go through the floor now that so many loyal viewers realize how mediocre SNL is.

Trump’s Campaign needs to get a cut of the advertising “gate” for the next “debates”.

Trump on SNL was funny but when he wasn't on it was pretty bad.
The last time I remember SNL hitting it out of the park was when Jimmy Fallon was the guest host and Michael Buble was the musical guest.
That show rocked because Jimmy brought in his own writers.
Maybe the SNL writers they have right now should take a break from Lamesville.

Hmmmm, looks like Trump beat out Hillary on SNL. Hahahahaha

But at least it will get the 18-49 age range at least interested in the Donald.

I’d have thought it’d be more, as in maybe 25-30 years .. you know, since the last time SNL was funny.

I have 4 children between the ages of 18-49. And only one watched SNL and she is already pumped up for Cruz.

People tuned in to see what kind of sideshow might transpire. When nothing remarkable really happened, people, like myself, realized I have missed next to nothing over these past few years as far as any kind of “funny” or “witty” content and SNL are concerned.
One big meh, in my book. As it urns out, SNL is even less funny than even I remember it being. I think the last time I watched it before last night was around Desert Storm. Then, they did an ok job of making fun of Bush 41. Apparently, it has been all downhill since.

Maybe that is why Trump has left Cruz pretty much alone, because they could very well be a ticket, just saying.

According to NBC, SNL had a whopping 6.6 household rating on Saturday night, easily beating the season's previous high: the 41st season premiere last month, hosted by Miley Cyrus and with a guest appearance by none other than Hillary Clinton. In fact, Trump's overnight rating was 47 percent higher than the Miley/Hillary episode. The actual number of SNL viewers will be available later in the week. But for point of comparison, the season premiere delivered 6.3 million viewers, so Trump's episode could be close to 10 million.

I intended to watch SNL last night just to see if Mexicans would disrupt the show as they threatened.

They did a good job on putting the illegals on notice with that little bit.

Wait ‘til next week. The ratings will bottom out, especially when so many people have been reminded how bad SNL really is.

SNL is not funny anymore. TV is not funny anymore. Feminism and political correctness have destroyed 'comedy'. I Love Lucy shows? STILL funny. Carol Burnett show? STILL funny. Once the difference of the sexes is lost and females assume the role of males there is no contrast anymore. Comedy on TV is history.
There were funny moments with Trump, and he skillfully made himself more human and flexible, less rigid. Brilliant move by Trump and SNL knew what he would bring so they treated him fairly. The Drake video, 'Call me on the cellphone' was good for a chuckle.
