Pro-Rubio super PAC: Only four candidates have a shot at nomination
Politico ^ | 10/30/2015 | Daniel Strauss

The super PAC backing Marco Rubio sees just four candidates having a shot of winning the Republican nomination. And Jeb Bush isn't one of them.

"When you consider all angles, as we do, we believe there are really only four candidates with a reasonable chance of becoming the Republican nominee: Senator Marco Rubio, Dr. Ben Carson, Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz," Warren Tompkins, head of the Conservative Solutions PAC, and media consultant and lead strategist Jon Lerner wrote in a memo sent out to donors, friends and supporters on Friday.

"And when you look on to the general election against Hillary Clinton, we are convinced that Marco gives the GOP its best chance to win. The Clinton Machine itself openly acknowledges that Marco is the candidate they most fear."

The Friday memo follows a debate performance earlier in the week in which Bush attacked Rubio's record on votes in the Senate. Rubio quickly parried the attack, and since then some donors have begun questioning the strength of Bush's campaign and his ability to beat Rubio and the rest of the field in the primary.

Rubio shot his foot off long ago. He is a fine young liberal amnesty loving Rino. He is backed by a string pulling money man and bush has new dirt on him.

Of course you do, but I see the other 3 have even better chances than Marco does. One of us is right heh.

don’t buy the “in the general election.....” if Rubio is who the clintoons fear they must be terrified of facing Cruz or Trump. especially Cruz. Rubio will have a very hard time keeping up when the big Trump/Cruz money starts really getting spent. don’t think he’s ready for prime time but charlie brown is better than any clintoon.

If Cruz is willing to stand on the senate floor and call McConnell a liar, does anyone think he wouldn’t do the same or worse to Hillary in a head to head debate.

When Reagan debated Carter he used the now famous retort “Well there he goes again” and America responded appropriately knowing that he was calling out the lies being spewed.

Here we are in 2015 and Ted has shown he will tell it like it is.

Please, Br'er Fox! Skin me if you like, but don't throw me into that brier patch!

But I agree with them about the final four.

Leftist lie habitually If they are telling people they fear Rubio it is because they do not.

They have gone from Carson now Rubio...Hillary is afraid of one person and one person only: TRUMP....Cruz is second, but Trump has the goods that can knock her over....watch and see...

I think that Clinton is more afraid of Trump than Cruz.

Good grief. The only one they don’t want to run against is the one who can’t be stopped, even though EVERYONE has been trying to take him down since he announced his run. The ‘fear card’ has been a bit over used this election, IMO.

There’s a lot of bunk in this article but I do believe that these 4 are the ones from this point forward. I think Rubio is the least likely to prevail.
Trump seems to have appeal across the aisle. I think Carson does as well. There are probably a lot of blacks that like Carson who may have voted for Obama. He has some (to me) “shaky” things that may hurt him going forward but I doubt they would hurt his appeal with blacks. Cruz is my favorite but he, at present, doesn’t seem to have that cross over appeal. In a way, it’s no surprise as he is the most conservative of the group. I personally think Trump & Cruz are the strongest candidates with Carson and Rubio following in that order. The rest need to call it a day - especially before the next debate. They simply have no chance and their numbers show it. Unfortunately for all of us, I’m sure they will not see it that way.

I agree! I mean look at the people in that picture (I know it’s hard). It’s almost like one of those things you see in Highlights Magazine for kids. “Pick the person or object that doesn’t belong”. A few years back I would have picked Rubio. Now we see where his heart is really at. I mean can you imagine the average American wanting to be in that group of men?!! It says a lot that Marco was willing to join them.

- Some people (not us), when they look into Obama-clone Sen Rubio’s past, come away with serious concerns. -

That’s a paraphrase of one of the bullet points in Bush’s leaked 112 donor presentation.

Yep. Trump’s support spans all political groups. Cruz’s doesnt. But it’s because trump is not all that conservative.

But my choice is still Cruz.

Donald Trump will "politically MASSACRE" snarky little Marco "Amnesty" Rubio at the next GOP Presidential Debate ... by ATTACKING Rubio over the H1B Visa issue.

They debate television crews will need a ten-man bucket and mop brigade to mop the "political blood" off the floor ...

================================

I'm a GREAT Ted Cruz supporter ...

I spearheaded and organized the FIRST and VERY successful "Ted Cruz Florida Grassroots Leadership Conference" on 18 July 2015 in Orlando.

BUT ... as a Senior Aerospace Mechanical Engineer ... I've seen LOTS of Americans Computer Programmers, Engineers (et al) get FIRED and replaced by Indians and other H1B Visa "drones" ...

"Every" American scientist and engineer live in FEAR of H1B Visas ... trust me ...

Finally ... Ted Cruz's (otherwise brilliant campaign) comes to a screeching "Warp-Speed-Nine" DEAD-STOP in the future debate where Donald Trump CHALLENGES Ted Cruz on H1B Visas.

At that point, Ted Cruz's campaign is OVER - DEAD - FINISHED.

Jeff Roe (Ted Cruz National Campaign Manager) ... are you LISTENING ?????
