Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) has entered into a much less "joyful" stage of his presidential campaign.
Bush did little to aid a struggling campaign during Wednesday night's debate, in a performance that opened up new questions about the once-front-runner's status in the race.
"Jeb Bush can eat carbs now," quipped Matt Drudge, editor of The Drudge Report, in a reference to Bush's Paleo diet.
Appearing on CNN afterward, Bush appeared rather exasperated. CNN's Dana Bash asked him whether he was frustrated with his performance. He brushed aside the question, but he hinted he didn't appreciate the questions or the amount of speaking time he received.
"Nope, not frustrated," Bush said, grinning slightly.
"I wish I had gotten questions on, you know - got to answer questions on things that are on the minds of people, you know, entitlement challenges, the debt. I got fantasy football. That's important I guess, but not as important as other things going on."
When pressed by Bash about whether other candidates onstage outperformed him, Bush interjected.
"I'm running for president of the United States. I'm running with heart. I'm not a performer. If they're looking for an entertainer-in-chief, I'm probably not your guy."

Holy crap, I agree with Jeb.
His responses show why he is weak and not a leader, let alone the leader we need now.
Why even suggest that fantasy football has any relevance. Didn’t Jeb! hear Christie?
Get out Jeb! Nothing will so honor your presence in this race as in your leaving of it.

Jeb’s campaign manager complained to the producer about Jeb getting less air time.
I think I heard the producer say:
“I was just trying to help!â€.........
Well, look on the bright side Jeb. In a few weeks you will be able to do all those “cool things” you were talking about.

Watching Señor Yeb self-destruct before our eyes was “an Act of Love”!
By the time he was asked about fantasy football it was clear the moderators were asking trap or offensive questions and he totally fell into the trap and wasted his valuable response time telling a national audience how good he is at something irrelevant to the debate subject of the economy.
Others had already challenged the leftist moderators questions and this answer just demonstrated he was not paying attention and would be no match for Hillary and team media.
Cruz got a question about not being a problem solver regarding the national debt and instead put a highlight reel nuke on the moderators' desk.
That's your problem, Jeb.
Jeb would be all warm kisses up to DemoRats if elected. Just like daddy and brother W did. Jeb allowed Terri Schiavo to be tortured to death while he was Gov. He had nothing to do with that but he didn’t take the brave step to stop it in the end. He could have been a real life hero if only he did.
