At the Republican debate hosted by CNBC in Boulder, Colorado Wednesday night, presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz lambasted the moderators, particularly John Harwood of TheNew York Times, and the media for their treatment and characterization of himself and his competitors.
"The questions asked in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media," Cruz at Wednesday's Republican debate. "Everyone home tonight knows that the moderators have no intention of voting in a Republican primary."

To help promote transparency, should debate moderators disclose their voting preferences before the debate?

Debate? This is no debate. It’s a slime fest by a bunch of mudslinging leftist democrat radicals carrying the ball downfield to help elect democrats. Every question is an attack that would make Obama and Hillary proud. The candidates are just fending off unfair attacks at this point rather then debate the issues we care about.
I’m disgusted with these so called moderators.

Debate moderators should not be members of the media that obviously have an agenda to push.

Yes, of course it is. However, most of the candidates are doing very well and showing up the press.
