My father-in-law (a combat vet of WW II) had stomach issues for several years. By the time VA diagnosed his problem, his cancer was in very advanced stage, and spread to all internal organs. Obviously the cancer had been growing for a long time, perhaps over 5 years. Then the VA doc told him, it was too late to operate! He died 2 months later.
“Cruz stands right next to Trump on this issue”
I am not dissing Ted Cruz but who would you rather have calling the VA on your behalf Trump or Cruz? It is what it is. That’s why I want Trump for President he is a formidable personality and we desperately need that to whip the quislings in Congress into action.
This Vet Just Asked Trump 1 Question That Makes Him Instantly Walk Off the Stage
Boy, that’s a misleading title isn’t it?
........................................................
Not at all. It is exactly what happened.
The headline makes it sound like a negative thing, Trump walking off the stage.
knowing how so many in the administration respect our vets, I can see this man being helped today, and out of spite, 10 others are delayed.
Yeah, the headline is atrocious.
I’ve have watched almost all of his rallies. He is very aware of the audience (unlike any of the other candidates.)
He consistantly speaks out to people individually, stops speaking to ask about anyone with physical problems like people fainting or feeling weak.
I’ve seen a couple of rallies where he has unobstrusively had his people get additional information from someone, it appears to me at least, so that he can address a problem privately. Case in point, a lady with restraining orders and legal bills trying to keep her and her daughter safe.
We can either dismantle them NOW, in an orderly and sane manner, or we can wait until they come crashing down around our ears.
OK, fine. Just pay me back my contributions with interest compounded at the going rates during the contribution period, less what I've collected so far, and less the Medicare benefits I've used. That would be fair.
unless their problems are service connected.
.......................................................
And therein lies the rub. FAR TOO MANY valid service connected problems are shoved off until later, challenged, papers lost, more paperwork demanded and months of fighting incurred following requests before treatment, or even an appointment can be secured.
I agree with you. We were at the Norcross rally and Trump looks out right at individuals in the crowd. Like constantly. When he came out of the side door to get in his SUV I was wearing a US flag tee shirt and waving at him he looked me right in the eye from at least 75 ft away and smiled and pointed right at me. He’s very aware of people.
Let me also say that I don't think VA medical care should be available to any vets unless their problems are service connected.
When I enlisted 60 years ago I was promised health care for life. I think they also mentioned tropical islands with half naked hula girls dancing around too. :)
FYI, Fedzilla has been robbing me for more than 30 years. Your SS and Medicare checks are coming directly either from my paycheck, or from borrowing that will eventually have to be paid out of our kids' paychecks.
Blame it on the thieves, not on me. I was told (or led to believe) there was a trust fund. When I found out the truth it was too late to do anything about it other than think murderous thoughts about the thieves.
If enough of us old folks hurry up and die, that’ll solve the problem. Hey, I just figured out the REAL reason for Obamacare...!
I'm not blaming you, JR. Really. See my exchange with oh8eleven (courtesy ping). That bastard Roosevelt got it started, and almost NOBODY in the political class has since had the guts to even tell the truth about it much less propose any sane method of ending the scam without putting decent folks who were robbed out in the cold.
Hey, I just figured out the REAL reason for Obamacare...!
There's probably more than a little truth to that.
So Trump stormed off the stage due to a question from a pissed off veteran..........
Sounds to me like Trump had no answer and refused to address the vet............
Care to qualify your statement and the obviously misleading title of this thread?
Trump knows the value of interactions like this. This isnât the first time he has done something like this.
