Reuters daily tracking shows Carson within 6 of Trump. Again, not sure what is the fascination with Carson. Trump's support is solid. He's been in the 30's for quite awhile now. Carson with a huge uptick over the last week. This could be simple consolidation of other support going to Carson, or just a general tightening of the race. But I see no evidence that Trump is slipping. This is all Carson gains. I cannot see where he will sustain this level of increase. He will inevitably tail off and I predict a huge halt to his support and then a decrease after the debate. Carson will be shown to be completely out of his depth on economic matters as he is on most things. Have a great day all. Make America Great Again!!

I suspect this is the blow back from Trumps 09-11 comments.
He needs to remember he is trying to win GOP voters over. He needs to get back on his Economics message. He destroys every other candidate on that topic.

If you look at the presentation, Trump’s #s are flat. Carson had a mysterious spike in one day’s polling two days ago, which may well disappear next time around.

Maybe, but it’s undeniable that something happened that caused his numbers to rise. The reassuring thing is that Trump’s numbers aren’t falling.
