You may be correct. However, it does seem to me that deadly force is employed more often these days. It used to be common to see aggressive perps beat up, but that now just invites litigation.

As deliberate as stealing a car, fleeing police, fighting the officer and trying to drown his dog?
Due process is a lawful act which the lawless ignore. If this were a rape survivor and not a cop would you be questioning it?
I am a rape survivor and that still doesn’t give me permission to kill someone who is fleeing from me.
I’d shoot my fleeing rapist in the back and not think twice about it. It’s the most moral decision. Where is he off to next?
