Limbaugh: Ted Cruz Is ‘Inarguably Thoroughbred Conservative’ [VIDEO]
Daily Caller ^ | 10/26/2015 | Steve Guest

Posted on 10/26/2015 1:55:13 PM PDT by Isara

Rush Limbaugh says Ted Cruz is “inarguably thoroughbred conservative.”

Monday on his radio show, Limbaugh argued that Cruz is “positioned…ideally” and if something happens to Trump, “We’re not shut out here.”

Limbaugh praised Cruz, “We still have someone in our roster that opposes every bit of the Democrat agenda, perhaps more than anybody else in the race and that’s Cruz. I mean Cruz does not have in his record any statement like Trump does of having supported certain things the Democrats have done. Cruz is inarguably thoroughbred conservative.”

Rush Limbaugh: I think that there is a dark horse in this entire thing, and I think there is one candidate who is positioned here. Now I know that it’s getting late, Trump has had the lead for 100 days here or more. Well he’s been in the lead ever since he’s got in. And there now fewer days until Iowa that he has been in the lead. I mean he is over the hump in that regard. but there is still a long way to go, it is politics. Any number of unforeseen, unpredictable events are potentially out there. And there has been somebody trucking along here steady-eddy that has continued to be who he is and continues to lay down foundational markers for himself and that’s Ted Cruz. And I think Ted Cruz is, is positioned, I would say ideally. I mean, I’m sure, Cruz would love to be in the top two, top three here but of all the others in the race, you take Trump and Carson here and they’re at number one and number two. Carson has pulled ahead of Trump even in Iowa now in two polls. But overall Trump leads and his lead continues to expand but what if it doesn’t? What if something happens? We’re not shut out here. We still have someone in our roster that opposes every bit of the Democrat agenda, perhaps more than anybody else in the race and that’s Cruz. I mean Cruz does not have in his record any statement, like Trump does, of having supported certain things the Democrats have done. Cruz is inarguably thoroughbred conservative.

Cruz is inarguably a thoroughbred conservative.

I agree. He has few chinks in his conservative armor.

Rush joining Levin, good.

He has sat on the sidelines a number and being an apologist for RINO’s. It is getting late in the game we need a conservative in the WH Cruz is the best option IMO.

Well, Rush is right.

Cruz, by himself and without Democrats helping, tried to increase H1-Bs by 500% (it failed, thankfully).

The Republicans were behind the TPA and the Corker Amendment, both of which Cruz supported and voted for (on the final, second go-round with the TPA bill worked out with the House, he voted against that).

Yup, Rush is right. Cruz's stupidity is not on the Democrats.

Limbaugh talks a lot about “conservative” but does he ever define what he means by “conservative”? There’s a fair amount of confusion and disagreement about the meaning of the word “conservative.”

Amnesty and TPA/TPP are two chinks.

So, of the many dozens of issues on which we can focus, Cruz was in your opinion totally wrong only one time, and hoodwinked by the lying Majority Leader one time.

That’s a 95%+ record I can support.

Who else is better?

“Cruz is inarguably thoroughbred conservative”

Except I don’t want a thoroughbred who runs at 2yo on a groomed track with blinders on. I want a mustang who can hang in for 100 miles through the mountains at 15yo.

I'll post the links only for people who still want to know the facts.

Corker Bill:

Ted Cruz's Record of defending U.S. Sovereignty:

TPA:

Please watch this video. Ted Cruz described the situation around the votes for TPA and Corker's bills.

H1B Visa:

Do you know the story behind the H1B visa stuff?

It was in the middle of a battle which Ted Cruz and a few senators fought against the 'Gang of 8' amnesty bill. He offered an amendment to counteract pro-illegal immigration provisions of the amnesty bill.

I, and many people, are grateful that Ted Cruz led this fight. Otherwise, they would have approved amnesty already.

Remember this fight in 2013?

What are TPA and TPP?
TPA stands for Trade Promotion Authority, also known as “fast track”. TPA is a process by which trade agreements are approved by Congress. Through TPA, Congress sets out up-front objectives for the Executive branch to achieve in free trade negotiations; in exchange for following those objectives, Congress agrees to hold an up-or-down vote on trade agreements without amendments. For the past 80 years, it has proven virtually impossible to negotiate free-trade agreements without the fast-track process.

TPP stands for Trans-Pacific Partnership. TPP is a specific trade agreement currently being negotiated by the United States and 11 other countries, including Canada, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. China is not a negotiating partner. There is no final language on TPP because negotiations are still ongoing and have been since late 2009. Neither the Senate nor the House has voted yet on the TPP. There will be no vote on TPP until the negotiations are over and the final agreement is sent to Congress.

Some Key Facts:

With a population of over 300 million people, why do we need H1B visas anyway? We also have many of the best universities in the world, why do we need foreign trained help anyway?

“Limbaugh: Ted Cruz Is ‘Inarguably Thoroughbred Conservative’”

So?

He needs to demonstrate an ability to beat the GOPe and the leftist media through brute force, not by trying to be too smart by half and hope for a lucky break.

This isnt affirmative action. Go out there and make some noise because it isn’t going to get any easier.

He has sat on the sidelines a number and being an apologist for RINO’s.

Don't know where you get that idea, he never was and never will be.

In fact he's been a vocal opponent of RINO's and the GOP for years........

Maybe you should start listening to his program.

My only issue with Cruz? Is he likable enough to win? Can he win?

I know the American people, and they don’t vote for boring people.
