Republican front-runner Donald Trump is viewed as the strongest contender in the general election among GOP voters, according to a new Associated Press-GfK poll. Of 1,027 adults surveyed online earlier this month, seven in 10 Republican and Republican-leaning registered voters said the billionaire businessman could win the November 2016 presidential election if hes nominated. Six in 10 voters said the same for Ben Carson.
Meanwhile, six in 10 Republicans said former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush could win the general election and 54 percent said the same for Florida Sen. Marco Rubio. The AP-GfK poll also found that Carson and Trump are most likely to receive positive ratings from Republican voters, with 65 percent saying they have a favorable opinion of Carson and 58 percent saying the they have a favorable opinion of Trump.
Republicans voters appeared somewhat less excited about Bush, with 48 percent giving him a favorable rating. Among the broader electorate, however, Trump and Bush earn the highest negative ratings 36 percent view Trump unfavorably and 37 percent view Bush unfavorably. The survey also asked voters about their preferences on experience. By a 77 to 22 percent margin, Republican voters said they prefer an outsider candidate who will change how things are done over a candidate with Washington experience.

I’ve got no problem with Carson riding “shotgun” right behind him.
The acceptance of the inevitable.
Stage 1- Non-Confront.
“It does not exist, it cannot exist, dont talk about it.”
Stage 2- Aggression.
“It exists and is a threat to our way of life. It must be eradicated.”
Stage 3- Trivialization.
“It is growing but it will go away eventually. Its not a threat, its really nothing.”
Stage 4- Integration and Co-option.
“Its here to stay. How can we manipulate the idea for our own ends?”
Suddenly, every is on board, they have always been on board, this is the new normal, we have the Final Answer.
Except it never is the “final answer”.
I absolutely do.
Carson is an amnestybot.
The winner in Iowa will be the guy (or gal) who motivates more of his supporters to attend his or her precinct caucus than his opponents.
I live in Minnesota, another caucus state, although with some additional needs of candidates. We caucus on 3-1-15. In our BPOU Executive Committee meetings we are discussing what the Republican Party is trying to do to prevent voters from coming to "vote and leave."
Democrats can join our cauci. I don't know if that is so in Iowa. We would like the eventual winner to have Republican support that is both wide and deep. We sure don't need any Democrat interlopers.
I'm pulling for Cruz. Nevertheless, if Trump wins in Iowa it will make for momentum. The same can be said for Carson. I understand between now and February Cruz is planning to spend some time in Iowa. Go Ted!
In Minnesota a candidate needs to win the caucus and get his delegates to fight through to the state convention to get the Minnesota Republican Party endorsement. Much can go wrong regardless of the winner on caucus night.
Thank God America is awakening.

Ditto! Go Trump!
