Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski were among the first in the media, going back months, to take Donald Trump seriously. In contrast, Bill Kristol had repeatedly declared that we had reached "peak Trump," only to find The Donald confoundingly continuing to climb in the polls.
Things boiled over on today's Morning Joe. Despite a fresh poll showing Trump with an astounding 48% of GOP voters in Massachusetts, Kristol blithely declared that Trump "is not going to be the nominee." That elicited sarcastic laughter from Scarborough, who shot back "we can show you clip after clip after clip after clip of your incorrect predictions about Donald Trump and his imminent collapse." Later, Kristol seized on a new poll from Iowa showing Ben Carson having overtaken Trump. Claiming that "you guys have been overestimating Trump and underestimating Carson," Kristol said he was "just trying to be helpful." An exasperated Scarborough exploded: "you're out of your mind. You're not trying to be helpful. You're trying to cover your a--. It won't work with us."

Wow-Joe is really taking it to Kristol. Kristol appears to be unhinged these days. He and Bill Bennett and Hugh Hewitt are right there as well.
I wonder if Joe wants a job in the Trump administration should he win the presidency?

I fluctuate between hating Joe Scarbrough and liking him a lot. Mika? Mika is, in my mind a kinda sorta honest liberal. Is that an oxymoron?
But Kristal is dead on right. Trump is not going to be the Republican nominee any more than Bernie Sanders is going to be the Democrat.
Trump could win every primary and 90% of the delegates going into the convention and the Party will find some way to take him down. Or take him out.
The Republican party hierarchy would rather seen Hillary (or Biden) president then Trump or Carson or even Cruz.

The way he took this to Kristol is amazing....good point for the HUGE base for Trump....
So Kristol thinks its going to be Rubio/Fiorina...that’s interesting.
“Joe Biden’s going to get in, I’m quite confident. I think he’ll get in tomorrow or Tuesday,” Kristol said. “I think he’ll go to Delaware, presumably, and he’ll announce in a state he represented for so many years, and I think he’ll be a strong candidate.”

Where have all these MSM clowns been as Trump’s crowds grow bigger and bigger and more enthusiastic every day?
They, obviously, consider We The People to be mindless puppets controlled by DC Elitists! They will discover they’re Wrong. All I hear when talking to people about politics are people supporting and enthusiastic about shoving it to DC Elitists and the vermin who are destroying our country and our future. People are excited about supporting Trump and that includes Union workers, military veterans, and others.
And why do think that?
Kristol appears to be unhinged, he has been that way for decades.
Has Kristol ever been right on anything? Kristol’s next astute political observation will be his first.
