Exactly, that’s how I view the show, a parable to surviving the Liberal Apocalypse.

Do you like westerns? The zombie genre is basically a form of western.
To: longfellowsmuse
I merely look at the obsession with Zombies as glorification of the culture of death.Depends on the person. Some may watch it for the gore. But if you read the article or any of the TWD threads, the vast majority of the people watch it for the survivalism, prepperism, conservativism, and pure drama of humanity struggling to survive after modernity has collapsed.

Check them out on armslist.com (sort of a craigslist for guns). Depending on condition and other factors they seem to be going for anywhere from $2k to $4K.

In the current episode the Isis comparison would be
the wolves.

Damn Id love one of those but I dont have the three grand a decent one goes for these days.Looks like Colt discontinued them because they were just too labor-intensive to build what for they could sell them for.

Andrea was the best of the lot. With her death, hope for humanity died with her.The same could be said for Dale Horvath. He was the moral center of the group (until Hershel came along) and always trying to keep their humanity intact.

Being the moral compass on TWD is like being a red shirt on Star Trek. Your days are numbered.

I agree. Those people are living in a fantasy world. Look at the some of the hard core Star Trek groupies. Some have actually learned to speak Klingon! I feel the same way about fans of Football, Basketball, and especially Golf.
