Rising seas to displace millions of Americans if warming unchecked
MSN News ^ | October 12, 2015 | Chris Arsenault

Millions of people in the United States could be forced to abandon their homes if planet-warming emissions continue unabated through 2100, pushing global sea levels up by more than 14 feet (4.2 meters), researchers said.

In the United States, between 20 and 31 million people are living on land that would be submerged by rising oceans without aggressive cuts to greenhouse gas emissions, according to a study published on Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

This is BS.

Simple elementary school science can debunk all of this globull warming “voodoo” science.

They can live on the mountains of bullshit the Global warming alarmist have been producing.

Bjorn Lomborg makes that same argument in his book. Namely that even if global warming is real, turning the world economic system upside down trying to stop it would be worse than just letting it run its course and dealing with the effects.

Odd how so many areas are dealing with serious drought issues while the oceans are apparently just about to have some supposed massive increase in volume, and while the ice caps are supposedly shrinking. Where exactly IS all this water, AGW climatologists? Sea levels haven’t risen yet, you say the ice caps are shrinking, and yet we have drought and water shortage problems looming in many places. SOMEONE isn’t telling the truth here!

If I’m not mistaken, Lake Superior set a record for the length of time that it was frozen over this year.

The ONLY thing the weather channel is good for is local on the 8’s... Especially when dumb and dumber (steffi “my boobs are bigger than my IQ” abrams, and the chocolate midget al roker) were on in the mornings. The TV was always on mute so I never had to listen to those two morons blather on about global warming.

Really hard to disprove their fantasy projections when they are at the year 2100. We’ll take you bucks until then and then change the projection to 2200 .... and we’ll take your bucks and change the projection to 2300 .... and....

Water seeks its own level. In Holland, the sea is not rising; the land is sinking.

We Texans have been watching the same thing happening at the San Jacinto Battleground for years. North of the Monument, battle sites where our grade school class used to picnic are now underwater and hundreds of yards from where the roads that used to enter them now end.

Guess what? the water isn't piled higher there; the land has subsided...

ASK OBAMA or ANYONE OF HIS IDIOTS ...
What is the Correct Temperature?
What it was 10,000 years ago?
7,500 years ago
5,000 years ago
2,500 years ago
1,000 years ago
Or Yesterday, and if Yesterday is the correct answer “WHERE” is the next question... because TODAY any Temperature from any Time above can be found Somewhere on Earth.
Now replace the word Temperature with the word Climate ... same questions and the answer is the same as well.
Rinse Repeat
(10,000 years ago what is now New York was under 2 miles of Ice and other places were Tropical, the Sahara was probably a Rain Forest)
OBAMA IS INSANE

These fools have been watching way too many disaster movies put out by the idiots in Hollywood. They describe scenarios just like the ones in those movies.

MEMORANDUM
THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON
September 17, 1969
FOR JOHN EHRLICHMAN

As with so many of the more interesting environmental questions, we really don’t have very satisfactory
measurements of the carbon dioxide problem. On the otherhand, this very clearly is a problem, and, perhaps most particularly, is one that can seize the imagination of persons normally indifferent to projects of apocalyptic change. The process is a simple one. Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has the effect of a pane of glass in a greenhouse. The C02 content is normally in a stable cycle, but recently man has begun to introduce instability through the burning of fossil fuels. At the turn of the century several persons raised the question whether this would change the temperature of the atmosphere.

Over the years the hypothesis has been refined, and more
evidence has come along to support it. It is now pretty clearly agreed that the C02 content will rise 25% by 2000. This could increase the average temperature near the earth’s surface by 7 degrees Fahrenheit. This in turn could raise the level of the sea by 10feet.

Goodbye New York.

Goodbye Washington, for that matter. We have no data on Seattle. It is entirely possible that there will be countervailing effects. For example, an increase of dust in the atmosphere would tend to lower temperatures, and might offset the C02 effect. Similarly, it is possible to conceive fairly mammoth man-made efforts to countervail the C02 rise. (E. g., stop burning fossil fuels. )

In any event, I would think this is a subject that the Administration ought to get involved with. It is a natural for NATO. Perhaps the first order of business is to begin a worldwide monitoring system.

At present, I believe only the United States is doing
any serious monitoring, and we have only one or two stations.

Hugh Heffner knows a great deal about this, as does also the estimable Bob White, head of the U.S. Weather Bureau. (Teddy White’s brother.)

2
The Environmental Pollution Panel of the President’s Science Advisory Committee reported at length on the subject in 1965. I attach their conclusions.

**** “So 85 years from now, they predict a 14 foot rise in sea level yet climate models have wrong for 18 years...?
Okey dokey.” ****

I wouldn’t care if they predicted a 200’ Rise or a 200’ Fall.
10 deg Increase or 10 deg Decrease
I DON’T CARE

MANKIND did not, Could not (pick one) Start, Stop, Hinder, Advance, Increase, Decrease etc etc...

I do suppose we could Cheer and since Algore is from here we would have Home Field Advantage

It simply stuns me that this isn’t more of a source of comedy and derision. It has been an obvious sham, cult, power-play load of crap for decades and there are still grown men and women that buy the whole crock.
