Once upon a time, or more precisely September 10, 2014, President Barack Obama spoke of the core principle of his presidency, to “degrade and ultimately destroy” the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS). Today, the core has become somewhat miniscule as the U.S., conscious of its failures in Syria as in other Middle East countries, intends to reduce its role and to carry out a more modest policy.

He will not talk on TV about it as you would hear his knobby knees clacking like a drum roll...
Whatever he does will result only in his self-gratification. Nothing of lasting value will come of whatever he does.
The disgusting thing is he does it out in the big wide open and the worshipful media cheers him on.

Obama hasn’t really tried to do anything about ISIS. All one has to do is look at the results.
Our only hope for the remainder of the obama administration is that Russia is serious about taking out ISIS because obama sure isn’t.
Cheering on Putin’s Russia to defeat ISIS is very little different than sending Stalin’s Soviet Union $11 Billion in Lend-Lease to defeat Hitler. Hitler’s Nazi Germany was evil, like ISIS, but the long-term cost was the Iron Curtain and Soviet Communism in Eastern Europe for two generations.
So Russia destroys ISIS. Great. The long-term cost to us will be a Russian dominated middle east. Not so great.
Thank you Barack 0bama, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry for having no sense of foreign policy.

Of course he won’t. He’s done. All he’s going to do at this point in his term is ride this out … knowing that all hell is gonna break loose over there during the next president’s term.

He will wait until the Russians have destroyed ISIS, then brag about how "his coalition" achieved victory over ISIS.

In exactly the wrong way, count on it. Vladimir Putin is indisputably one of the most arrogant, mean, boisterous SOBs to head any major nation in the world today, but he has a clear and unequivocal vision of what he wants to do, and that is re-establish the territorial reach of the former Soviet Union.
The Current Occupant has no such clear vision, only that the territory once known as “the United States of America” does its part by getting out of the way and acting as a receptacle for all the humanity being driven ahead of the storm visited upon the world by Islamic Jihadist expansionism. Once here, this struggling horde becomes the nucleus of the North American Caliphate, subject to the Jihadist warriors who swarmed in with the rest of the mob they were driving helter-skelter from their native lands.
Pray that this plan never comes together.

Obama is responding to Russia in Syria. He is castigating Russia for its weakness. That is a unicornial response but a response nevertheless.
