Would you have stood and fought like those in the Warsaw Ghetto or would you meekly have been hauled off to the extermination camps?
I come to exactly the opposite conclusion about the Warsaw ghetto. What was supposed to be a relatively easy extermination mission ended with the nazis bringing in tanks and other armaments and bogged them down for the better part of a month. Ultimately the nazis defeated the Jews, however it was at a much higher cost and it inspired the larger Polish resistance. Also, those who were deported from the ghetto in several instances organized further revolts in the death camps.
The Warsaw ghetto was Thermopylae on a smaller and more amateur scale. The Spartans “lost” at Thermopylae. But not really.

The Jews of the United States will be SEETHING from this, since they are Democrats/Liberals/Socialists first, and one of their PRIME GOALS in the United States is to DISARM civilians.
The LAST THING they need are presidential candidates talking about the last time they allowed themselves to be disarmed.

With a handful of guns and home made bombs, the News of the Warsaw ghetto killed Nazis and held out against the Wehrmacht and SS units for three weeks. Some of them lived to tell the tale..
I respect your answer, I think Carson’s analogy is generally accurate but my strongest reaction is to the liberals acting like Carson’s comment is offensive. Obviously he does not like the slaughter of schoolkids, or of Jews in Nazi Germany, and he is not trying to be disrespectful to either set of victims.
Carson is hundred percent correct.
Read any history of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. Except for the very brief battle and aftermath, the entire story is simply the scramble to find some weapons, any weapons.
