Real estate mogul Donald Trump retains his commanding lead in the race for the Republican presidential race, a new poll finds, even though many voters say they view the bombastic billionaire in an unfavorable light.
Trump takes 31 percent of the vote in the new Morning Consult poll, easily outpacing retired neurosurgeon Ben Carsons 13 percent. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) finishes in third place, at 10 percent, followed by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), at 7 percent.

Apparently “liking” and “voting for” are not synonymous since many people who say they don’t like Trump are also telling pollsters they will vote for him over Hillary.

That’s impossible. This is all BS!
I just heard the bottom of the hour news babe on WRNO out of New Orleans say that “Trump is vowing to stay in the race despite failing poll numbers”.
All the people in the basement are surging, and the guy with 31 is failing.
Whatever would we do without our daily narrative of lies?

Reuters has Bush at 15. That is fishy, but the rest seems reasonable...

The problem with Rubio’s polling is that so many women pick him just on his looks.

Trump is in their minds a scoundrel, but a more honest one than Hillary.

Megyn will continue to run with last weeks poll as “breaking news”. I think that poll only had something like 367 people nationwide.

I’m convinced that she meant to say “falling”, btu she clearly said “failing”.
Actually, I may not be convinced after all.
These are some really slippery news people these days.
