WASHINGTON, Oct. 6 (UPI) — The U.S. Marine Corps has unveiled new physical standards that all recruits — male and female — must meet to qualify for 29 of the branch’s jobs.
The new gender-neutral standards could make it a lot harder for boot camp recruits and Officer Candidates to obtrain certain positions, according to the Marine Corps Times. These fields include infantry, combat engineering, tanks and amphibious assault vehicles, close-air support, and ground ordnance.
One of the standards all recruits must meet is being able to evacuate a casualty, and conduct an MK19 grenade launcher lift. Most posts in the Marine Corps might have differing qualifications. The Daily Caller reports the standards arrived a day before the deadline for U.S. military officials to submit an exemption request for keeping combat roles open only to men.

There will never be true equality in this country until all females are forced to register for the Draft.
It is discrimination to only force males to have to go into combat and die.

Diversity for the sake of RAW Diversity is damned foolish.
Diversity works fine instance if you are currently using giant huge marine guys as secretaries and you hire some women to do the secretary work for the marines so you can free up the giant marine guys to do more giant marine type guy stuff.
But this current Diversity trend is ass backwards putting the secretaries on the front lines and big strapping men in the office.
Hey how tough could it be to lug a grenade launcher.. just shoot a few off to lighten the load.. preferably at a diverse enemy..

Adding females to Marine units in forward, combat zones, is going to do only one thing: cause more Marine deaths! PERIOD!

And I can only imagine the thoughts going through the mind of the Marine forced to do that. There are dozens of portable tents of varying sizes within the White House complex for any and all situations. Getting one and putting it up is simplicity itself. Unless you NEED to show your Authority and do some compensating.
How about positions named:
Enemy Psychological Gross Out Officer.
Enemy Moral Support Booster.
And I doubt that Combat Camera is one of the 29 gender neutral jobs in the USMC.
