Senate Democrats are saddling up for another gun-control push in response to the shooting at Umpqua Community College. Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) announced Monday that he is reaching out to Democratic senators on moving background checks legislation.
If “we don’t take action, we are equally responsible for innocent deaths as the sick individuals who plot and carry out these horrific measures,” Reid declared Monday on the Senate floor. “One thing is clear: To pass background checks, we need Republicans to stop acting as puppets of the NRA.”

Mitch McTurtle is in full agreement with the leader of the Senate.
This is one of Obama’s must-have agenda items. He already gave the Internet to communist country’s thus shutting down all these type discussions. Maybe even will stop Trump from implementing his agenda as President. Going to be hard to get his view out there if others don’t like it and they control IP addresses and domain names.

I have not heard even one responsible proposal for new restrictions on our individual, God-given, and constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms. Such laws are unconstitutional and should only be obeyed (if at all) out of fear, not out of any sense of loyalty to unjust authority.
“Shall not be infringed” means exactly what it says, and there can be no more compromises with gun grabbers who are insincerely negotiating as a tactic to chip away our rights. In fact, we should repeal most or all existing federal and state gun laws.

These repeated memes of “background checks” and “gun show loopholes” are canards. Background checks are already performed on all transactions between an individual and an FFL dealer. I’ve never bought a firearm at a gun show where I didn’t have to complete a BATF Form 4473 and have a background check.

What they are after is not background checks, we have those. What they want to make illegal is anyone selling a gun to friends, neighbors, co-workers.
They want all transfers to have a paper trail to make confiscation easier in the future.
This is not good, we must remember there is no opposition, Reid is in control of the the progressive liberal democrat/rino communist uniparty.
Harry really has his eye on this issue, this time.

If we had a Senate ‘Leader” with huevos it wouldn’t matter what Harry Reid wants. I don’t remember Reid sweating over what Republicans wanted. Reid would lock them out or just shut them down.
