They really are coming for your guns . . . After the Charleston church shootings, President Obama praised Australia's draconian gun laws, which included a mandatory buy-back program, AKA confiscation.
On today's Morning Joe, Mika wondered "why" we couldn't institute a similar gun ban in the United States, throwing in support for a database of all gun ownership for good measure. Joe Scarborough was actually obliged to explain to Mika that her gun ban was never going to happen because we have the Second Amendment here. That left Mika grimacing in regret [see the screengrab].

I believe the guns were registered in Australia and Britain so when they came for them the government knew who had what, and told them to turn them in.
This has been the liberal’s wet dream since 1962 when Thomas J Dodd and Emanuel Cellar called for the registration of ONLY HANDGUNS! Rifles would not be affected.
Then two years later they called for the registration of ALL guns, then a ban on small “Saturday Night Specials”, then a ban on all handguns, then a ban on semi-auto rifles and shotguns. And so on it goes.
You can go on certain Lib web sites in which they call for the abolition of all private ownership of guns, and prison time for scofflaws. Think of how many prisons will have to be built!
I say to Mika and he ilk...try to repeal the 2nd Amendment. Come on...propose it, say it, campaign on it. DO IT!!!
What you are proposing... dear lady is unconstitutional. You are going to have to repeal the 2nd before you can do anything. The people will not comply if you go with Exec Orders, the courts, or even legislation. You are going to have to propose, and expend political capital to campaign on on outright repeal for it to have any meaning.
If you intend to do anything less, the public will never comply....ever!!
Now obviously it would be political suicide to propose and campaign on a repeal of the 2nd Amendment. But, Mika and your leftist comrades that’s what it’s going to take.

Guns aren’t banned in Australia. Don’t let gun grabbers tell you they are. Every time they say that, it’s easy to show they don’t know what they are talking about and shouldn’t be taken seriously.
Liberals believe they can locate and confiscate 320 million guns (guns which can be stashed in basements, under seat cushions, anywhere) and yet they cannot find and deport 14 million illegals out of this country.
