This is some government offshoot of the Lutherans or something. Their Missouri Synod is about as conservative as you get. Their Evangelicals are loony left. But this Swedish thing seems even further out than that. Don’t let them fool you into thinking this is representative of anything.
The Lutherans I have met in America are all people of strong faith and strong principles.

Why would anyone care if a death culter is offended by a cross on a Church?

Making churches more inviting to those who are offended by the cross is like making churches more inviting to those offended by scripture. Removing the things that give offense removes the reason we would want to welcome more people. I am all for inviting sinners, including Muslims and gays, into all churches, but that has to be on the terms provided by Moses, by Jesus, by peter, and by Paul, not on the terms dictated by those who hate God and hate scripture.

My characterization still stands. There may be a very few actual believers in the risen Christ among the adherents, but otherwise, it is a shell of a corpse.
Most real believers belong to Fundamentalist Christian churches that don't pull crap like this.

I personally think it is fine for her to disassociate from any visible portrayal of Christianity. Now she just has to stop saying His Name and then she will be telling the truth. She is not a follower of Messiah.
