Syria is Obama’s Watergate: When did he know about Vladimir Putin’s axis-of-evil coalition?
New York Post ^ | 10/04/2015 | Michael Goodwin

Posted on 10/04/2015 6:40:54 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

What did he know and when did he know it? The immortal question about Richard Nixon and Watergate should be posed to Barack Obama about Syria. What and when did he know about Vladimir Putin’s axis-of-evil coalition? The significance is not limited to Syria. The question goes to the heart of the Iran nuclear deal, especially the timing of the congressional votes.

Imagine Obama trying to sell the Iran deal now. With Russia, Iran and Iraq working together to muscle the United States aside and defend Bashar al-Assad, the president couldn’t possibly argue that the nuke deal would help stabilize the Middle East. Nor could he argue that Russia could be trusted to help enforce restrictions on Iran.

The strong likelihood that Obama would have lost the Iran vote if Congress knew then what the world knows now suggests the possibility the president concealed the Russian plan until the Iran deal was done. That view fits with his single-minded determination to get a deal at any price, including making key concessions and downplaying Iranian threats to Israel and the United States.

After all that, what’s another lie?

That view is also supported by the chronology, which reveals strong evidence the president hid the truth. For much of September, reports of Russia moving soldiers and military equipment into Syria invariably said the Pentagon was “puzzled” or the White House was “unclear” about Putin’s intent. Obama declared on Sept. 11 that whatever the dictator’s plan, it was “doomed to fail.” The claims of fuzziness about Syria allowed Obama to keep the focus on his push to sell the Iran pact to Congress.

He touted Russia’s support, vowed to impose “snapback” sanctions if Iran cheated and said he would work to stop the mullahs’ regional aggressions.

There are people here that are that much into defending ISIS? Putin did what Obozo should have done long ago, kill them! Please, one radical moose-limb enemy at a time.

D’ya think?

Obama is a born liar. The bat eared resident of the White Hut has lied so much that he would not recognize the truth if he fell over it.

Obammy did the Iran deal because Putin told him too.... or threatened him. Obammy made some sort of a deal with Putin. Now after Obammy has done the deal, Putin is doing what he wants anyway. Putin is going to control as much of the oil and the pipelines as he can.

This is not obama’s Watergate. Watergate was from a bygone era where the MSM pursued the issue tooth and nail. Today no one will stand up to obama for fear of the same MSM.

We are essentially screwed until obama decides he wants to leave office.

Let’s assume Trump is the nominee, and his Let’s Make America theme catches on with some solid ideas and majority backing of the voters. Will obama really let the election take place just to have his legacy wiped clean?

The Nixon did the right thing and stepped down. This guy can’t tell right from wrong.

Obama was probably in on the scheme for Russia to ultimately grab control of the Middle East.

Russia moving in under the pretense of ridding the region of ISIS is like the Mafia moving to your neighborhood under the pretense of removing a violent street gang, then setting up a permanent base there to do Mob “business”.

Russia will grow wealthier, more powerful, more aggressive in their overall expansionist agenda (Eastern Europe, eventually elsewhere), and much more of a threat to the US and its allies throughout the region and the world.

Sure it’s great IF they actually do get rid of ISIS (we shall see). But having a country like Russia step in and gain such huge strategic advantage over the US and it’s allies is nothing we should be cheering about.

If Obama was serious about wanting to take out ISIS, which I don’t believe he ever was—I think him and Putin are actually in cahoots on this whole thing despite his and Kerry’s moans and groans about it, it might not ever have come to this, although Russia would likely have come up with some other rationale or excuse for moving into Syria and taking control of it, and ultimately the entire Middle East. Makes me wonder if ISIS wasn’t a KGB-like invention of the Russians.

Imagine Obama trying to sell the Iran deal now.

This wouldn't have slowed down Obam's give-away to Iran one iota.

He was determined to legitimize Iran's quest to become a nuclear power and didn't care if the American people bought into it or not.

Now, of course, everybody understands Putin’s intent and is alarmed because the war is widening and Russia has replaced the United States as the region’s top power broker, a blow to our national security and allies.

But there still is little understanding of the connection between this tectonic shift and the Iranian nuclear deal. In fact, the deal was the final piece that put the Syria plan into action.

By eliminating most sanctions and freeing Iranian assets, the nuke deal provides money and protection for the world’s largest sponsor of terrorism to attack our allies. And Iran’s liberation gave Putin the Muslim ground troops he needs.

Trump: Iran Deal Requires U.S. Protecting Iran in Event of Israeli Strike

by Jacob Kornbluh
Sept 2, 2015

In a phone interview with CNN Tuesday evening, Trump claimed that there’s “something in the Iran deal” that “people don’t understand” saying if someone attacks Iran, “we have to come to their defense.”

“Does that include Israel?” Trump asked. “And most people say yes, they don’t have an exclusion for Israel. So if Israel attacks Iran, according to that deal, I believe, the way it reads, unless they have a codicil or they have something to it, that we have to fight with Iran against Israel.” ..."

Trump was most probably referring to language highlighted by the opponents of the deal. On page 142, the deal includes a clause that states, “Co-operation through training and workshops to strengthen Iran’s ability to protect against, and respond to nuclear security threats, including sabotage, as well as to enable effective and sustainable nuclear security and physical protection systems.”

Washington-based Center for Security Policy asserted that Annex III appears “to commit the United States and other world powers to the defense of Iran’s nuclear program.”

Obammy thought he had a deal with Putin that would keep Russia out of the middle east and let the muslim and let the muslim brotherhood/ISIS take over everything. He did his part by striking the deal with Iran, and now Putin is doing whatever the heck he wants to do. WHICH is ultimately control the oil coming out of the middle east, so he can prop up the price and not let his country go bankrupt like it did during the 80’s.

Someone needs to pay for Putins incursion into Syria, Russia can’t. That would be Iran by way of lifted sanctions of over 100 billion dollars complements of Odunga. Yep this smells bad, but these days there are no Reporters curious about the truth. Why is there even a Pulitzer anymore?

Obama’s Watergate is Libya

He used American and NATO power to assassinate Kaddafi. The country was then literally looted by Islamic gangs, who have torn it apart (and killed a US Ambassador). Tens of thousands have died. Hundreds of thousands are refugees. The country is in flames.

WHY did Obama and Clinton do this? What was their goal?
