SNL wasted no time in its season premiere tonight getting to the comedic goldmine that is Donald Trump‘s candidacy for the presidency.
“Trump” and his wife spent the entire cold open bragging about how well-off they are but also assuring the American people they’re just average Joes “but better.”

SNL wasted no time in its season premiere tonight getting to the comedic goldmine that is Donald Trump‘s candidacy for the presidency.
“Trump” and his wife spent the entire cold open bragging about how well-off they are but also assuring the American people they’re just average Joes “but better.”
They even got in a reference to Trump’s Megyn Kelly feud, in which The Donald said that he loves Kelly and thinks she’s great, but “she’s a heifer who’s always on her period and I hope she dies.”

If you make it to Saturday Night Live, you have made it. They probably will make fun of Hillary too. They did in 2008. She is on tonight so they will send her zingers for sure.

Every president or major presidential candidate has been lampooned on SNL since they first showed Jerry Ford’s Secret Service men acting like klutzes to make it look like Ford’s klutziness was nothing out of the ordinary.
I know many here will disagree but SNL is pretty even handed in their satire over the years. Some of their funniest skits was making fun of Democrats.

SNL hasn’t been funny in 20+ years..funny how I dont see them attacking Hitlary Clinton or Bernie Sanders, but instead they go after Trump, the more they attack him the more he improves in the polls

Its pretty funny. SNL should pay Trump. They are going to make so much money the next 8 years.

I tuned in just to see what they would do, the program is disgusting, propping up hillary and trashing Kim Davis
And they are celebrating the perverted homosexual abomination of a lifestyle, made my blood boil.
Then I remembered to weep and pray for the poor lost souls.

I thought some of it was funny. They need to find a better Trump....that guy wasn’t so great.
I actually think SNL was the kiss of death for Sarah Palin. It’s like another arm of the media and the can reach the younger crowd.
So they make a bunch of jokes at Trump’s wife’s expense. I forget, what is she running for?
Chevy Chase says that in the years he was with SNL, they absolutely made an effort to affect the outcome of the elections.
I think so too. Doesn’t help that McCain’s camp muzzled her.
