I am not convinced on Donald Trump but wouldn’t it be funny if she were on and they didn’t tell her and had him walk in? He could just improvise, she’d freeze up and try that fake laugh and then freak out!

Yep... Comedy. The basic formula that humor must contain some truth to be funny. What kind of “funny” will be exposed to the masses?
When Joe Cocker saw what john Belushi did to him on his SNL appearance, Joe went into rehab and finally got sober.
If John were still alive and parodied HRC the same way, she wouldn’t be impressed and Belushi would be another victim of Arkancide.
For those not familiar with SNL these days, at the end of last season, SNL performer Kate McKinnon (who is a lesbian in real life) started to do parodies of Hillary.
These parodies were wickedly on target. Think of what Tina Fey did to Sarah Palin. Personally I think they helped shave a percentage point or two off Hillary’s approval ratings.
So rather than have McKinnon light her up again this season, Hillary will try to blunt it by confronting McKinnon’s character much like Palin went on SNL to blunt Fey.
What I am curious about is that in the NYT article on this, McKinnon had to pay liberal homage to Hillary, how she loves her, blah, blah, blah. So perhaps McKinnon will tone down her act.
Further, Lorne Michaels will be trying to reverse the damage his show and performer inadvertently did last year.
Hillary knows she is screwed if McKinnon goes nuts on her character again this year. This is one of most important moments of Hillary’s campaign IMO. They have to stop this SNL thing now.

Can anyone ever recall Hillary laughing at herself? Most successful political leaders have the ability to laugh at themselves which makes them more likeable and instills a sense of trust.

No. Hillary Clinton has a reality problem. Too many people know what she really is. Now she will try project an image to mask the reality of her disgusting existence.
