Our carriers enter the Dardinelles like the British tried in WW I and the mine filed goes up behind them.

Obama will be long gone, and Trump will be President.

And what if Hillary is to be president, as it has already been decreed by those who make such decisions for us?

You’re more angry with FReepers than Obama? O is the one that’s totally effed up the world, our FRiends merely discuss it.

I'm angry only at those that are apparently too ignorant or too outright stupid to see the big picture on what Russia is up to here. I'm well aware that Obama has made it possible for us to be in this terrible position we are in today. He and Putin share the same basic new international order vision: a substantially weaker US, and a stronger Russia and China.

Putin and the Obama administration are the ones that came up with the deal that involves the US potentially having to protect Iran nuke facilities from Israeli attack. Iran, the nation that has repeatedly threatened to wipe Israel off the map.

Trump: Iran Deal Requires U.S. Protecting Iran in Event of Israeli Strike

by Jacob Kornbluh
Sept 2, 2015

In a phone interview with CNN Tuesday evening, Trump claimed that there’s “something in the Iran deal” that “people don’t understand” saying if someone attacks Iran, “we have to come to their defense.”

“Does that include Israel?” Trump asked. “And most people say yes, they don’t have an exclusion for Israel. So if Israel attacks Iran, according to that deal, I believe, the way it reads, unless they have a codicil or they have something to it, that we have to fight with Iran against Israel.” ..."

Trump was most probably referring to language highlighted by the opponents of the deal. On page 142, the deal includes a clause that states, “Co-operation through training and workshops to strengthen Iran’s ability to protect against, and respond to nuclear security threats, including sabotage, as well as to enable effective and sustainable nuclear security and physical protection systems.”

Washington-based Center for Security Policy asserted that Annex III appears “to commit the United States and other world powers to the defense of Iran’s nuclear program.”

Putin would love an “unfortunate incident” to occur that he could use to expose Obama’s weakness to the world. Putin is cunning and knows that Obama is weak and will back down. It will be an easy win for him at our expense. Its just a matter of time.

He's pissed off at Putin because Putin slaughtered a lot of his friends in Chechnya.

The cowards and traitors in Congress have aided the destruction.

******************
Absolutely true. They have done virtually nothing to stop him. In fact, they funded everything Obama wanted.

I hope we can hold many of them accountable in 2016.

She won’t be. Her own side can’t stand her and are trying to get rid of her.

Wasn’t Ivan already in Syria? Not in as big a way as now, but they had a small port there.

I don’t think he’ll get us into a war. He wants to retreat and dump the problems of his making on his successor. Putin knows this too and will take full advantage of Obama’s weakness over the next 15 months.

Putin see’s a big green light to do whatever he wants at our expense. He might not get this chance ever again.

“just a heads-up to keep Russian and US planes from accidentally engaging each other?”

If that’s all there is to this, then we wouldn’t be objecting

Putinista alrert, the headline does not say this, either it was changed or this is editorializing the article which is against forum policy.

I guess the admirers of the $70 billion networth former KGB agent want to project this headline.

Because there are some really stupid people here who just don't seem to understand how evil and deceptive Putin and the Russians are.

I saw the Putin interview on 60 minutes. I saw how he laughed when Charlie Rose asked him about Russian intentions. He was so giddy he just couldn't help himself. I have no doubt that Russia has ultimate designs beyond ISIS. It's a pretense.

Now, ask me if I care. With 55 million + babies dead and Obama exporting abortion and sodomy around the world along with his tacit support of ISIS and the reestablishment of the Caliphate ask me if I care what Putin's intentions are.

Your problem is you're a jingoist. America right or wrong as far as you're concerned. Well if that is the America you want to reign supreme over the rest of the world then that's your own problem. You don't get to pick and choose which aspects of America you speak for. At a certain point your position demands a rise above party politics and ideological differences. When you choose to speak for the idea of America then you own all of it. If the United States continues to speak with such a voice (and 2016 will be the determiner of that) then that is the position you have staked out. You painted yourself into a corner. Don't cry about it now.

It doesn't even matter if Putin's lip service to those issues is just that, lip service. Any resistance to that kind of American foreign policy is in our interests. It's the difference between being a principled conservative and being an apologist.

Translator: The general would like to know if you will drink a toast with him.

Patton: Thank the general and tell him I have no desire to drink with him or any other Russian son of a bitch.

Translator: [Nervous] I can’t tell him that!

Patton: Tell him, every word.

Translator: [In Russian] He says he will not drink with you or any Russian son of a bitch.

Russian general: [In Russian] Tell him he is a son of a bitch, too. Now!

Translator: [Very nervous] He says he thinks you are a son of a bitch, too.

Patton: [laughing] All right. All right, tell him I’ll drink to that; one son of a bitch to another.

Russia gave arms to Syria who per this Heritage foundation article, assisted Saddam’s regime against the war effort in Iraq. Those are the people who went on to be a big part of ISIS.

The Syrian regime also likely helped bomb US marines in Beirut.
