So what was it that Trump did (I guess I could order the book) that got the rink out of its doldrums.
He hired the right people to do the job and did it on time and under budget.
He didn’t have any experience building ice skating rinks (he doesn’t even skate), so he consulted and eventually hired a company that built the best professional hockey rinks for the NHL. Instead of using a newer, supposedly cleaner technology to keep the ice frozen, he went with an older technology that was better proven to work. He also didn’t have to worry about stuff like bids, as the city was compelled to do. So after the city took forever to make up its mind, and was stuck worrying about some ridiculous environmental impact, Trump busted in and informed Ed Koch that he was going to do it himself and donate any profits the rink made to charity.. And that’s what he did it (much to Koch’s ongoing dismay)! He got it down under budget and in time for the holiday season, too. It’s a fantastic story and I hope he recounts it in an interview or maybe in a speech at some point..
Every day and for years, literally, he would see this eyesore of a mess in Central Park where there was supposed to be a skating rink.... it motivated him enough to do something about it. Some call the rink “Trump Rink”, but I’m not sure if that’s the official name.. it might be actually!
Might have been the best professional rink builders in Canada actually, I can’t recall right now... but the point is that they were the best!

Added to Sessions’ guidance on illegal invaders, Trump has been choosing smart, qualified people to advise him on these issue - always a mark of a great senior executive.
That trait was easily observable in my early career years and served me well as I migrated up the food chain to become an officer in a $400M organization.

Are you getting any real feed back yet on FOX ratings? I don’t quite know how to check that question out. Drudge use to post the ratings, I can’t remember if it was weekly or monthly, but I haven’t seen it lately.
not right now, but I am going to try and locate a reputable and trustworthy site or agency where we can keep tabs on it all and know it's honest. Will pass on to you asap.

Those of us who have been in business are all looking for the same things. We all read up on negotiating tactics and used them ourselves and it appears Trump is following the rules. We all know that successful businesses aren’t necessarily run by people with the best answers, but by those who can find the best help and evolve to a solution in short order. Trump in other words seems rational (not perfect mind you, but rational). We could do worse.
FNC ratings are not listed/only total and fox and friends? Does this mean FNC does not want us to know they know? I am floored!

The really interesting thing is she used to routinely beat oreilly maybe 2 or 3 times a week, and it was quite the news the first time it happened. The neilsens only rate weeklies, but she always made the top 3. This is the neilsens for last week and she was in number 10.

Thanks for the info. I really, really appreciate it. The difference in KELLY FILE numbers, since any kind of boycott effort began, looks pretty minimal to my untrained eye.
I’m sure it is some kind of a quirk in my inner psyche, but personally the findings are very disappointing to me. Maybe the slightly reduced numbers did send a message, and maybe they didn’t.
FOX NEWS is determined to derail Trump and do no favors for even mild Dr. Carson and they have nothing but disdain for conservatives.
I just hated to see us tolerate their agenda and prop up their numbers. It was such a small thing to do, to drop FOX like a hot potato it seemed, but clearly there were not enough of us to make a difference.
