Conservatives and Donald Trump Dance on Boehners Grave
thedailybeast.com ^ | SEPTEMBER 25, 2015

Trump wouldn’t say who he wants to “go in” in place of Boehner, first telling me that he wouldn’t comment on the matter at all, and then telling The Daily Caller, “I think they have probably four or five good choices.” He didn’t say who those four or five good choices are.

But when I asked Trump if Boehner was sufficiently conservative, he said, “I don’t think so, personally.”

> Why spike the ball when you are on the ten yard line?

Exactly. Nothing has changed yet but there is still the definite possibility of a cram down in what isn’t even an election year.

Trump. All that’s missing is the “I” and the “H”. TrIumpH. The word “landslide” won’t be big enough to cover it.

There should have been mass resignations in disgrace after about the 18th year of these violent lawless open borders.

Dance on Boehner’s grave? Piffle! I’d take a big dump and then piss on it just to make sure it stays on top of it.

Boehner has done more damage to America than some of the Democrats, and that takes a lot.

Cowardice in the face of the enemy is a capital offense, and sadly it took place in the capital of America.

He won’t be laffy daffy for long. His number is up. Interesting years, these days.

I am really struggling with the temptation to relish the writer’s anger and pain. I don’t think I am winning the struggle, honestly.

The Daily Beast no longer submits itself to the indignity of allowing user comments after it’s crappy articles, right?

No comment system, no clicks from me...

It's not a victory for conservatives until someone worthwhile replaces him

Conservatives in their district got rid of Cantor. The "conservatives" in the HOR decided as some kind of idiotic strategy to back McCarthy...defeat from the jaws of victory. Then there's Cochran being defeated by any honest measure and establishment 'pubs saving him by rallying Democrats to vote for him in the runoff.

The only measure should be that the next HOR Speaker is one of the 25 who voted against Boehner. The others cannot be trusted, since they already backstabbed us on that crucial vote.

So, nc, never thought I'd agree with you, but you're correct. This isn't a victory. It's the 10-yard line.

It is a victory, no matter who replaces him.

It disrupts their organization and lets the replacement know that he can be taken down as well.

The new election cycle begins in November.

Nothing major is going to be passed.

Steve Scalise is on the short list. He’s not perfect but at least his conservative rating is in the 70s...if I recall.

I think he is the current whip under Boner..but whips usually have a lot of baggage due to their position. Don’t know how the conservatives feel about him now..
