Republican presidential candidate and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz joked at Friday's Values Voter Summit that conservatives terrified House Speaker John Boehner into resignation.
“You want to know how much each of you terrify Washington?” Cruz told the crowd of conservatives at the conference at Washington, D.C. “Yesterday, John Boehner was Speaker of the House.”

Well, I think in some SMALL part the thought of dealing with a Pres. Trump terrified Boehner.

This was pressure from conservatives pure and simple and had nothing to do with Trump.

Te Republicans could do whatever they wanted with brains and a plan. They have neither in the ‘Weeper’ of the House.
I imagine this move is being done in order to get one of his boys to take over. The Conservatives must push for the entire leadership under Boehner to leave. A clean sweep.
Cruz is mixed at best with his endorsement for tripling H1B Visas.
Who cares what 75% of people want. The Democrats never care they take their power and use it when they can.
He isn’t the spawn of Lucifer he is simply his handmaiden and a cowardly drunk. A well spoken SOBER leader knows how to project power and utilize the media.
Boehner is a drunk and a coward and there is no loss to the party and certainly not the Conservative movement that he is gone.
The simply act of passing a budget has been beyond Boehner’s ability to get done.
Make Obama veto the spending bill.
