Trump: I'm so tired of this politically correct crap
politico.com ^ | 9/23/2015 | Nick Gass

Posted on 09/24/2015 9:23:39 AM PDT by rktman

A seemingly exasperated Donald Trump announced on Wednesday, "I'm so tired of this politically correct crap," telling a crowd of South Carolina business leaders that he's still the straight-talking, shoot-from-the-hip kind of guy that surged to the top of the polls this summer.

The Republican presidential candidate is suffering a bit of a slump, due to some slippage in the polls, a lackluster debate performance, and another round of negative headlines due to his refusal to apologize for not correcting a questioner at a New Hampshire town hall who insisted President Obama is a Muslim and not an American.

When Nick Gass does a piece on liberals faking hate ( from the “KKK” Oberlin student - to the lesbians carving hate messages into their own skin - to this ‘hate Muslim’ liberal plant... I'm NOT interested in anything he has to say.

His ‘concern’ about Trump is as phony as Hillary's ‘wipe it with a cloth’ crap.

People aren’t dying for specifics. The media ask that so they can attack. People want a vision, they want to know what we are going to do. You hire a leader to put the wheels in motion. That is why they are a leader. People do not have the attention span anymore for all the detail.

The electorate has changed. You can see that only if you want to see it.

Wonks never win because they get caught up in the weeds. That is why you see people sleeping at rallies. They want a vision and to know what a candidate advocates. If They like it, they vote for that person to do it to the best of their ability.

“slippage in the polls”——Media is ALL about the proper perceptions of the ignorant masses.

They repeat the lies over and over and it becomes the truth in the minds of the useful idiots who “vote”.

Fox News don’t you know. They reported this morning on their internet site, Trump is 32% and Carson is 20% and according to Fox News, they are running neck and neck and Carson and Fiorina are closing in and Trump is losing ground. I know what it is, Fox news personalities must have had to take a quick lesson in Common Core Math.

“...due to some slippage in the polls...”

I thought Trump had advanced in the polls? Or has Politico decided to decree reality through the power of the printed page?

“Political correctness is nothing more than censorship dressed up as good manners.”

I love that definition.

Lol, I think Mr Gass needs to visit an audiologist to have his hearing aid checked. That comment by Trump got overwhelming applause.

Cruz is toast. Cruz screwed the pooch with his Corker vote and he knows it. So does Trump. That's why he wants to include the Iran mess (he helped create) into a funding bill...hoping it will make his bone head vote go away. He's too stupid to know as long as he keeps bad-mouthing Bohner and McConnell he's not going to ever get anywhere with any kind of legislation. He's all talk and that's all he ever will be.

Then we are doublely screwed, yes the Corker Vote ticks me off as well. Cheney has a new Ticker, that is outside shot, after that are bench is empty and it Bolshevik Bernie or Slo-Joe Biden if we drop the ball...

Yes. And nobody gets where Trump is by being ‘spoiled’.

I love how the media talks about a Trump “slump” failing to mention how Rand Paul is in single digits etc.

Good list.
May I add rooting out all the Lois Lerners in the alphabet regulatory agencies ?

The alphabet bureaucracy has become the 4th branch of government through which executive orders are administered.

I haven’t heard any candidate making this an objective or one of his/her first acts of governance.

Political correctness is nothing more than censorship dressed up as good manners. In other words, don’t say what we don’t want you to say.

That's part of the definition. Then there's the part of flipping meanings to say the opposite of what something is. And forcing you to accept it. As in Pro-Life advocates being called Anti-Abortion, while the others are called Pro-Choice and not called Pro-Abortion. The naming political correctness is so screwed up.

I have long thought that Trump doesn’t really want to become president. After all the White House would be a step down in opulence.

I think he is taking his anti-PC rhetoric and seeing how far he can go with it. I’m not a big Trump supporter, but I do enjoy the refreshing freedom of speech coming from him amid the gnashing of teeth from his media detractors.

I hope he paves the way for other candidates to ignore the PC police.

I can’t speak for LewisLynn however consider what they maybe alluding too. The E-GOP destroyed Alan West, ditto that Michelle Bachmann, they drove them out, or jerry-mandered them out. Sadly, Ted Cruz is up next in the next cycle because you know Dang well McConnell if he still is in the seat of power will politically destroy him. Ted has to be on the Ticket and get elected to stop McTurtle from truncating his political career...
