The most political of all issues facing the nation.

No word yet whether he mentioned abortion or religious freedom.

So many of them wish to improve their lives by sponging off the American taxpayer. Sure, why not.

It sounds like he’s ready to endorse Bush for president as an act of love.

We are nation of laws not of Pope wishes, didn’t the Vatican have a route to smuggle Nazi’s out of Europe to South America?

Thanks for the advise, but our immigration policy is none of your business, Pope.

BTW how anyone could call you 'Your Holiness' after the way you've prostituted yourself to the progressive political agenda is a mystery to me.

Fine, no problem — but how about recognizing that we have immigration laws and maybe that people can’t break those laws without consequences . . . no matter how noble their reason.

There are some here in FR with such devotion to this pope they believe blind obedience is the only acceptable response.

This visit by the pope seems to have some rather interesting timing to it.

As for his “can’t wait” urgency on “global warming,” anyone else notice he hasn’t harangued China, Russia and India about that subject?

Worst Pope in living memory.

Fifty years of cold war to defeat socialism and now we have Obama and the Pope trying to accomplish what the USSR could not.
