Good grief. What’s the big deal? He steps out, lets the scanner push the M button and steps through again. There was no need to make a big deal out of it. Just because he wants to live in a fantasy world doesn’t mean everyone else, especially security people, are required to immigrate there also.

For once, I have to agree with the TSA. If you show up at a check point looking like a female, you get treated like one. It is not the TSA’s problem you can’t decide what gender you “feel” like you are.
Well, I have to agree with her on that part.

Remember when these scanners came out everyone got concerned that the screeners could see your private parts, and even some smuggled pictures got published?
IIRC the fix was to make software do the recognition for bad stuff, but the software needs to know if if you have ‘junk’ down there or not, otherwise called male/female.
Poor TSA, they can fix one problem but cause another - it's the government “Law of Unintended Consequences” in action again.
