Here are the poll's complete numbers:

Donald Trump 24%
Carly Fiorina 15%
Ben Carson 14%
Marco Rubio 11%
Jeb Bush 9%
Ted Cruz 6%
Mike Huckabee 6%
Rand Paul 4%
Chris Christie 3%
John Kasich 2%
Rick Santorum 1%
Jim Gilmore less than 1%
Bobby Jindal less than 1%
Goerge Pataki less than 1%
Scott Walker less than 1%

Appearing Sunday on CNN's " State of the Union," where the poll was first announced, Trump admitted to being surprised.

"Other polls have come out where I picked up after the debate," he said. "I'm in first place in every poll, but gained substantially in a couple of them. So I'm a little surprised but, you know, it's a poll."

The election, he said, is the only poll that matters.

The poll did show voters like Trump on issues.

About 44 percent said they think Trump could best handle the economy. Fiorina follows at 11 percent, Rubio at 10 and Bush at 8.

He also is strongest on immgration. Forty-seven percent of GOP voters think he could best handle the issue, with Rubio following at 15 and Bush at 9.

The GOPe is pumping her up to pick off Trump because they know it will be easy to knock her off when the time comes to slip Jethro in there.

Trump should completely stop taking about POLLS and talk exclusively about ISSUES.

Something is very strange about a poll showing these figures, and yet showing Trump overall losing ground.

I wish Bush was down in Rand Paul territory and Cruz was in double digits.

Rubio is double digits, he looked strong during the debate. Go Cruz, go! Fio-RINO looked reptilian.

Just be glad we have Carly the Beautiful to look at and up to and do not have to suffer the painfully shrill voice of and the obvious stupidity of the grossly ugly quiter Palin who doesn’t know what newspapers and magazines she reads or what the Boosh Doctrine is.

We’ve dodged a bullet this election!

(Now, where did I put that /sarc button...)

CNN is such an outlier and out and out liar.

LIAR! LIAR! LIAR!

This is part of the Fiorina Push.

There is an avg of polls at RCP. Look at the second chart. It is so obvious, they are making this up.

Yes, everyone else has Trump higher and Fiorina in single digits.

CNN has their marching orders.

I don’t know, I’d kind of like to see Bush flounder for a couple more months.

The GOPe would be fine with Carly if it came to it. She’ll fit right in.

They have to cook the numbers. I call BS on this one. Bending and twisting the news is not enough, now they have to massage the poll numbers.

The MSM wants it to be Hillary against Fiorina, then when that is set up, they will go full guns after Fiorina.

Just imagine a Hillary VS Trump debate?

Compared to the other polls, taken just as recently, this CNN Poll is UTTER BULL$HIT!

Someone post the "BULLSHIT METER" animation ASAP. Thank you!

In a Nationwide poll of 444 Registered Republican should be expected to show this kind of volatility.

Trump could be anywhere between 18 and 32 %.
