Finally some real action without worrying about collateral damage.

Exclsuive: Syrian army starts using new weapons from Russia - military source
BEIRUT | By Tom Perry
The Syrian military has recently started using new types of air and ground weapons supplied by Russia, a Syrian military source told Reuters on Thursday, underlining growing Russian support to Damascus that is alarming the United States.
"The weapons are highly effective and very accurate, and hit targets precisely," the source said in response to a question about Russian support. "We can say they are all types of weapons - be it air or ground."
The source said the army had been trained in the use of the weapons in recent months and was now deploying them, declining to give further details other than saying they were "new types".

How sad. The Russians doing what we lack the will to do. We spent $500 million to train 4 or 5 fighters against ISIS.
I’ll bet the Russians don’t call them “ISIL” either.
[ISIS Tweets “large number of martyrs”]
Man, that is so sad.
The larger the better.
Martyrs for starters. I like it.
If Putin wants ISIS out, he will do it and get it done quickly. Not like Obama, who doesn’t really see what ‘folks’ keep complaining about.
Too bad we don’t have an Air Force that can attack ISIS’s Capital.
Russians just doing the job Kenyans refuse to do.

Activists: Syrian government launches heavy air raids on Islamic State-held Raqqa
BEIRUT
Syrian warplanes mounted around a dozen air strikes on the Islamic State-held city of Raqqa on Thursday, activists reported, in an unusually heavy attack by government forces on an area also being targeted by a U.S.-led coalition.
Activist group Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently said on its Twitter feed that "regime jets" had mounted more than 12 raids on the city, which is a major base for Islamic State in Syria, and listed eight targets.
"There is news about a large number of martyrs and wounded," it said.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said jets believed to belong to the Syrian military had mounted at least 11 air strikes.
There was no mention of the air raids on Syrian state media.

Personally it doesn’t matter to me who is doing the killing as long as ISIS is on the losing end. If defeating ISIS means Assad stays in power a while longer then so be it.
After Obama authorizing a few sorties per day that have had little effect on Islamic State, we might see the Russians go in and get serious a make a real difference in their joint efforts with Syria. Probably still a conflict with no good guys.
I hope Russia exterminates every last one of them, and I hope whatever Americans we have secretly working with ISIS get the flock outs Dodge.
Praying for the innocents. This is a necessary evil.
How long before Obummer uses this as his excuse for a massive import of Muslim refugees?
[”activists”]
Is that what they call folks who riot, murder, kidnap, rape and chop off heads now?
Man, I am soooooo behind the times.
That sorta has a ring to it, let's go for a larger number of martyrs.
Flexibility.
Well buh bye then!!!
