Jeb Bush declared on "America's Newsroom" that he is going to be the Republican nominee in 2016.
Asked by Bill Hemmer whether he's satisfied with his current standing in the race, Bush said he believes he'll come out on top.
"I'm excited about where we are and I know where we're going. I'm gonna be the Republican nominee and I cannot wait to take it to Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders or whoever it is," said Bush.
In the latest RealClearPolitics polling average, Bush is in third nationally, with close to 8% support. But he trails Donald Trump by more than 20 points and Ben Carson by 12.
Bush got into it with Trump at the debate, including calling on him to apologize for a comment about his Mexican-born wife.
Trump previously claimed that Bush's immigration policies won't be as tough because his wife is from Mexico.
Trump refused to offer an apology, arguing that he said nothing wrong. < SNIP >

The only chance of that is if Mexico has a Republican Party.

Folks, laugh if you will, when the Democrats and Moderate Republicans start voting in the Primaries, watch what happens.
Unless Bush is knocked out by then, he’ll get a lot better numbers than you all think.

I still expect him to be the nominee. The RNC/DNC coalition has already decided.
They can’t pull it off this time.

Get Heb! some clown stilts so that he can be 13-feet tall in the next debate.
No, taller!
Make Heb! an even 25-feet tall next to the other candidates!

Democrats and Moderate Republicans start voting in the PrimariesThat's a real concern, allowing open primaries in so many places.

Well, the plan all along was JEB vs Hillary, with Hillary winning. These plans went awry when Trump showed up, plus the fact that JEB was much more unpopular than the planners thought.

Yep, we go through this charade pretending otherwise—but the GOPe has enough convention votes of its own to keep a pretty tight handle on things.

"I cannot wait to take it to Hillary Clinton"I think he meant to say 'HAND it' to Hillary Clinton, meaning the presidency...
Sheesh... Whatta putz!

Let's review Jeb's performance last night:
- can't do attitude on the 14th
- Put England's Thatcher on US currency (as great as she was)
- Demanding Trump apologize to his wife, when we all know she does influence him.
- Reminding people of the "low energy claim"
- Admitting he smoked marijuana making him a poor role model.
- Saying John Roberts was making good supreme court decisions.

RNC cooked up the rules so that Jeb can get the nomination even if he is a distant second in the total primary vote. They'll be passing out stink bombs and stirring up internecine skirmishes to try to cover up the real source of the stench.

Frustrating, isn't it, to think we really have no say in the process after all. You'd think they might as well skip past the expensive campaigning and just nominate each party's candidate through committee, but then the political consultants and media would lose out on all that precious ad revenue.
It's all one big scam.

Jeb Bush: 'I'm Going to Be the Republican Nominee' And if you are, i'm going to vote for the Democrat. I'd rather burn this b*tch down than let another one of you weak wimpy milquetoast Rockefeller Republicans run it.
